Good evening all!

I've been perusing the forum for the past couple of weeks and figured I should probably post up a brief introduction.

Well, let's see.. My name is Jeff and I hail from the great city of La Follette.

I currently own a Ruger P944, Ruger LCP, and a TGI built AMD-65 (currently broken, argh!).

I have a 9 year old son. Sadly, he has absolutely no interest in guns (yet!). There's still time.

I'm a programmer/analyst by profession and currently working on a Masters degree in Information Systems.

That about sums up my existence. Looking forward to joining in on some great discussions.

Hi Jeff! Welcome to TGO!

I used to own one of those Ruger P944. It was a great shooting gun

All three of my guns are "new to me". I just took the P944 to the range this past weekend. It is an absolutely *great* shooting gun! I put about 80 rounds through it and it was perfect. My shooting isn't so great, but I can hardly blame that on the gun. :)

The only thing I have against it is I won't be able to easily carry it when I get my HCP. That's why I bought the LCP. It should be very easy to carry. The only downside to it is finding .380 ammo at reasonable prices.

Before I worry about that I still have to get into a class somewhere so I can get everything sent it for my HCP. Seems they're all full these days!
