A month or two ago I heard someone mention a Star 9mm. After seeing pictures I really wanted to get my hands on one.

This week I had the opportunity to run across one. After I got it home I did some research and found out that it was made in 1943. It is in very good condition for the age. The slide is still very tight. I am ready to get this thing out to a gun range.

Here is a pic of one online until I get one of my gun.

Has anyone ever owned one?

I have a newer model, Star 30MI.

My favorite gun. Solid, reliable and (was) fairly accurate.

Never read a negative comment of its quality.

Enjoy your Model B!

Looks like you got a well cared for gun.

I've shot a Star 9mm that one of our members here has. It's a great shooter IMO. I'll just say that it's made me look really good everytime that I've shot it, and thats takes a lot to do.

I shot a full magazine through it on Friday. I was suprised by how good it felt.
