AMD-65 grip recommendations?

Guys: I dislike the wood grips that came on my AMD65. I'd like to add something synthetic. I'm not a big fan of bakelite. Also, would prefer a solid grip instead of one with a compartment. I really like the hogue ergo grips that i've put on my ARs. Anyone know of something similar for the AK?

Comfortable grip!?!?!? Is not golf club! Is rifle! Used by peasants! Not decadent western couch potato! Does not need comfortable grip! Thirty million peasants cannot make mistake! Motherland give you this rifle!

But, to answer your question, Advanced Technology makes a Dragunov style "drop in" stock for AKs. It's not too bad. TAPCO & Command Arms both make various grips & forearms for AKs as well. So does Leapers, but I've never seen those in person.

I'm not sure what options there are for the fore-grip... but there are plenty of options for the pistol-grip. I'm pretty sure actually, that there is a company which makes adapters which allow AR15 grips to be installed (I'll have to go look through my catalogs now... I'm pretty sure it was in a Sportsmans Guide...).

Personally... I just wear gloves when the grip gets uncomfortable.
