Just picked up a PT1911!

Guys:

I sold my Glock 36 and picked up a NIB Taurus PT1911 from The Rabbi. The pistol looks to be very well made. The slide's finish looks to be very weak. You can see a number of nicks and scratches in pics below. Otherwise workmanship is MUCH better than the Springfield and Charles Daly (armscor) 1911s that I've owned in the past.

ALso, I must again give the Rabbi kudos for great customer service. Aside from offering a great pistol at a great price, he opened his shop on a Sunday afternoon to accommodate my schedule (driving through town) so I could take a look at the pistol. I don't think many shops would offer such customer service these days.

Nice pistol. I own one myself...I believe I like it as much or possibly more than several other 1911's that I own. The stock trigger rules. Enjoy.
