Thinking about a Glock

I am new on here and have an assortment of handguns and am always wondering what the big deal with glocks are and why alot if people on here seem to compare two way different hanguns like the well tried and done 1911 and a glock. These are two completely different guns. I personally don't like glocks and own two a 19 and a 27. And of course own a couple 1911s my grandads 1911a1 and a springield operator, which I like shooting the old grandad more than the operator. Anyways why don't you look into the Springfield xd, and if you can spend a little more I def Would say get hk.

In the world of defensive handguns, Glocks and 1911s are two of the easiest platforms to shoot quickly and accurately. They also have the widest availability of accessories and parts. Thus, you will probably hear mention of both quite frequently.

I've got an XD. I just wanted to try a Glock and didn't like it. I gave it my best effort to like it because it would be a new toy to play with. There are a lot of discussion forums on Glock vs. 1911 is why I started the post with questions about a Glock. Don't want another pissin contest about the two. There are enough of those. I tried it, Been there done that. not for me.
