I was wondering was I can't post in the WTB Thread?

It says "Anyone may post a WTB ad regardless of their Benefactor status." but will not let me start a thread.

So do you have to be a Benefactor to post there now?

I had the same exact problem. It says : "bubruins, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation." as soon as I click "+ Post a New Thread" on the Want to Buy page.

I think that policy has been changed. The line you refer to will be updated I am sure.

Same here. The rules still say that you can post in the WTB section, but I get the same message. At least you know it isn't just you.

Where is the old text still present? I tried to remove all of that but obviously I missed something somewhere.

The problem was this: Too many people were knowingly abusing the openness of that policy.

It is on the Main Page under Want To Buy and also once you chlick on the Want To Buy thread it is on that page also.

Thanks. I may try it once more where anyone is able to post in the WTB section but this is going to be the last attempt to see if people can follow the rules. If we do it, I would appreciate everyone being of assistance and helping ensure that folks don't abuse the privilege.
