TN & USA Ammo

I'm done with Russian ammo namely "Wolf" and other foreign manufactures. I've run some Wolf through my SR9 without too much of a problem, a few misfires and did notice it's not very accurate/consistent shooting ammo.

(BTW, I was told, not by an employee, that Wolf ammo is what caused G&L to catch fire)

I don't know what I was thinking, most likely the price, when I purchased some mail order Wolf in .380, 5 boxes is what I bought. This crap is such a headache to use while trying to shoot it through my P238. 20 rounds out of 100 FTF, about that same number wouldn't chamber.

Thought is may be the gun but after trying some Winchester's and some Aguila (made in Mexico) I had no problems and both were much more accurate.

I'm curious if anyone has used local supplier Tennessee Cartridge reloaded ammo in Oakland, TN and Alabama Ammo without any issues?

Any other favorite brands, made in USA or TN out there?

I bought some 50 rds TN Cart....good stuff.

I had my first failure to fire/bad prime today out of a Tulammo 9mm. It was the first problem of any kind with that brand (some 2000 rds this year alone) only issues are slightly dirty and less accurate.

Post some reviews on what you come up with.

I agree and it would make a good winter hobby for me, just need time and a warm place. Right now it's fun to shop for a low price and what shoots best.

My LGS and range sell TN Cartridge. I've shot quite a bit in 38spl, 45C and 45acp. Never had a problem with the revolver rounds but out of 150 rounds of 45acp, I had three double charged, over charged or something. I still have two of the pieces of brass, it's what made me decide to start reloading. I screwed the two pieces to my reload table as a reminder to be careful. The first one, I had to have the guys at the range help me get it out of the gun and they kept it.

I didn't get a 1911 until Jan '11 and started reloading right after. Couldn't hardly find 45acp anyway. Before that, I shot 38spl & 45C at about 1000 apiece,with no problem. My LGS has a little 357M left but doesn't stock it anymore.

Used to shoot quite a bit of Alabama ammo years ago, in 9mm. Never had an

issue. Never tried the Tenn stuff.

Every once in a while the banner ad for USA Ammo displays. I purchased 1000 rounds of reloaded 9mm last month. I havent been to the range, but the prices are great.
