I think I paid like 50 or 60 bucks after tax and they had it done in 15 minutes.

Thats a great deal! It's definately worth it to get it done. You'd spend $50 at autozone on tint and razorblades to do it yourself plus you get the better quality metalized tint and not the dyed stuff.

Yeah. I know people that know people or something and I think I got the hook up. Not sure but I'm very happy with the work they did and think it is worth more than I gave.

I have 15% on my Acura and I've never had any issues. I will have tinted windows on every vehicle I ever own. I love the privacy and the fact that it helps with the summer heat.

Now, it will be interesting to see if I get busted by the Florida cops here in a few weeks when I go on vacation. :fingers crossed:

Mine was about $168 with taxes. I did not get a strip on the front glass.

Looks Great! Tennessee Tint has done two vehicles for me. IMO the strip acroos the windshield is the most important part, you might want to try it. You will hardly even need sunglasses.

Yeah I had the strip in my last truck (f150) and I loved it. The windshield is not as tall in this truck and a decent sized strip would go pretty far down the window. I just didn't think I would like having a little tiny strip on it so I opted out. But what you say is true; it does provide alot. I was also scared I would be asking for it with the strip as it is IMO very eye catching.

I've gotten to where I prefer to do the whole windshield in 35% rather than a strip. The strips just look horrible.

Surefire way to attract the attention of many police officers. In TN, it's illegal to install film that reduces visible light transmittance ANYWHERE on a windshield to less than 70% with the exception being the manufacturer's installed shade band at the top. Most windows are already around 72 to 76% without tint added. 99.99% of officers will overlook someone adding a strip to the top, but quite a few will cite you for an entire windshield tinted.
