I have a friend that has worked with them, he had nothing but good things to say. I also know a few people that have done the zip line with them and they said they all had a great time.

Adventure Courses

Overview

HawksNest_sm.jpg

The new Adventure Course at Bays Mountain Park is an interactive ropes course consisting of both high and low challenge elements and a thrilling 300 foot zipline. The Adventure Course elements provide participants with an intense partnering experience which dramatically highlights the objectives of team work, cooperation, trust, communication, adventure, and perhaps most importantly, compassion. This unique experience also provides the opportunity for individuals to enhance self esteem; promote physical fitness; encourage adventure, risk taking and innovation. The entire Bays Mountain Park Adventure Course is a great way for companies, youth groups, sports teams, church groups, and individuals on improving their self esteem and leadership abilities.

Adventure Course Elements

The Hawk's Nest - High Course

The high ropes course known as The Hawk's Nest is a three tower structure with participants suspended up to 35 feet above the ground. There are two levels of elements designed to challenge participants to work together in order to bring their entire group across each obstacle.

Low Course Elements

There are 10 low course elements on the ground that challenge participants both physically and mentally. The Wolfs Den, The Vultures Roost, The Flying Fox, Crazy Snake, Beavers Crossing, The Black Widow, The Rabbit Hole, The Firefly, Wild Turkey, and Bear Run are the 10 elements guaranteed to challenge the mind and body in an attempt to build a trusting relationship with other participants.

The Flying Squirrel - Zipline

The Zipline known as The Flying Squirrel, is a 300 foot thrill ride that takes your breath away. Participants are secured with a safety harness and belayed to cables on a 35 ft. tower. Participants begin from the tower behind the Farmstead Museum and zip through the natural beauty of Bays Mountain Park towards the Amphitheater.

The Flying Squirrel is included in each of our team building and group programs. It may also be scheduled by groups a separate adventure.

Individuals may ride the zip line during specially scheduled days and times. Please see the Flying Squirrel page for all the details or contact the park for more information. Individual Zip Line Rides >>
