AK-74 Feeding issue

My Romanian Wasr2 AK-74 is having a slight feeding problem. Was firing 2-3 rounds then jam on a feed. Most times 'scraping' the round with the bolt stock on the round half way shut. I field stripped it, cleaned everything, oiled it up and went back to the range. 90% of the time its fine now, with the occasional jam. Im thinking this could be a mag problem, so Ive ordered a few more. Only slight mag wobble, holding mag tight seems to help when firing. Any thoughts on what else to look for?

What mags are you using? Have you disassembled, cleaned and lubed the magazines?

Oh man, I didn't know you could take the mags apart. :)

Its a polymer mag.

If it's any US made mag...there's your problem. Get some of the Bulgarian waffles. The best you can get. They are more expensive, but worth it.

Thanks guys, I stripped the mag last night and cleaned it the best I could. I hope oiling it a bit wont hurt (inside). I can't tell where its made, plain polymer mag. Ive ordered a few steel ribbed mags, we'll see what happens.

+1....Rusty com block AK mags dug out of the mud with dried blood on em is what your kalashnikov needs comrade. Well that or the nice Polymer Bulgarian waffle mags with the circle 10 armory stamp. None of the US mags are reliable...just like with the AR:D
