More leatherworking...

I happened to be up at Cumberland Gap this weekend, and caught the tail end of a civil war re-enactment. Got to talking with some of the re-enactors, and as a result, I got very little sleep Saturday night. This is what I did instead - a shoulder holster (adjustable, with a belt loop) for an 1851 Colt 7.5 inch barrel black powder pistol. It hangs a bit low on me, even at the tightest adjustment point - but the fellow I made it for is a bit bigger than me in a couple dimensions...

I was able to get it to him in time for the last 'battle' on Sunday.

I'm gonna make a couple of minor changes and make a couple more of these.
