Y'all are really gonna blast me hard when my Archangel stock w/ detachable mag comes in.

I'll be sure to post pics so you have something to glare at menacingly.

I'll post mine too.

How he get them bolts so shiny? I'm a little embarrassed at my mosins now.

I degreased mine real good and used a Dremel with a rubber bit. It shines it up w/out taking off metal. It won't remove gouges/scratches, but it's shiny when done.

I wouldn't be afraid to use a buffing wheel and metal polish either. I just started with the rubber bit to see what it'd do. Edited by BigK

Mine have the dark blotches on them. Some parts are still shiny but most of the bolt handle is dingy looking. The bolts here look damn near chromed. Would be pretty cool to get them looking like that.

I wouldn't go that far just to feel better about my mosin. It appears to me that he was able to achieve that mirror finish on his own. I'm pretty curious as to how, since I doubt he found all 4 mosins with spotless bolts, or maybe he did. If that is something I can get done in two beers or less I'm in.

When you get the stock in(I know this is a lot to ask) but could you post a review of the stock. The installation, shoot, and maybe some photos... that would be cool.

The Garand in in a whole other league. With all the other options for military surplus rifles, I think the demand for Mosins has been so high, only because they were/are cheap.

Well I stand by my assessment, a Nagant will never be equal to the value of a 1903 or a Garand, but that doesn't mean that they will stay cheap forever.

Agreed. Heck, they've basically doubled in value already.... A decent 91/30 used to be $80, now $160.
