The P11 is a double stack and the PF9 is a single stack. The P11 is considerably larger than the PF9, almost too big for pocket carry IMO.

I had a P11 and did not like it at all. It was a terrible shooting gun to me. I traded it for a Glock 26 and that is a fantastic gun for the same size. The Keltec was about $300 with one mag new the used G26 was $450 with 3 mags and finger extensions.

I have a sub 2000 and love it so I really thought the p11 would be great. Atleast my P11 had a FTF often, long trigger pull and the recoil just sucked.

I guess my answer is I went for the P11 I wouldn't again,

And its my turn to disagree with everyone.

I'm not a small guy (38 waist, 32 inseam) but I pocket carry my P-11 just fine, thanks. Yes you have to be picky when buying pants. But, it works well enough for me.

Now the bad news. Most people I've let shoot it have NOT been able to manage the trigger well enough to get any decent accuracy out of it. I'm managing ok and can get the bloody thing to actually group in slow fire. But, the trigger travel is over an inch. If you are a dedicated 1911 fan, I doubt you'll adapt to this pistol.

It was really meant for the same type of service as a snub-nose revolver. up close and ugly, can't miss because the target fills your entire field of vision.

I'll go with the PF9 crowd. Single stack is flatter and it has a lot better trigger. Before I carried a P11 I would carry my m&p40c. There is not that much difference between the two. With not overly tight pockets I can carry the PF9 in a pocket holster all day long. It also hides under a shirt on your belt very well.

IMO all you are getting with the P11 is more rounds. If I feel that is not enough I put a spare mag in another pocket.
