Could have gotten a good deal...

Was just over at Sportman's Warehouse in Memphis. Looked at a Walther P22 that I'm thinking about for my wife to practice on. But they didn't have a short barrel OD green in stock so I didn't buy one. They did say they were getting two later this week and the price they quoted was 60 bucks cheaper than somewhere else I looked yesterday. So I'll probably be back.

But I did pick up a range bag, a couple of pistols rugs, some snap caps and other miscellaneous cleaning supplies.

Anyway, so the total should have been around 90 bucks I guess. I give her my credit card and when I look down to sign the slip it says $19.64. For about 2 seconds I thought hard about walking out the door. The cashier had no clue what she had done.

But I couldn't do it. I informed her of the mistake and we got it corrected and I paid for everything. Damned conscience!

That happened to me at Lowe's this morning. I was buying about $70 of marble chips for the back yard and when the cashier finished ringing it up she said, "That'll be $26 and something cents." I knew about how much it should've been, and after a little pause I said, "How much?" She looked again and said, "Oh!" and got it right. What the heck it's the right thing to do.

I hear you about G&A. Dose of their own medicine.
