I'm thinking about getting some land and having a house built. Does anyone have any builders they would recommend or avoid?

Knoxville area talk to Carson Construction. Excellent work and has tons of references. Its my father in law and he has been doing construction for almost 40 years and is a perfectionist to the point of driving me nuts lol. The work number is 865-269-4117. Hes on vacation this week but will be available next week.

I have an old friend that is a superintendant at Schmid Rhodes in Knoxville.  They may only specialize in the $1m+ market; I don't know.  Feel free to PM me if you want more information.

Idk about that area, but if you can talk him into it David Garner, is by far they best I've seen. Pm me if you want his number.
