New AR build help needed

Recommended Posts

I just completed my first AR build. I installed the trigger screw that was being sold on TGO forums. Here is the problem. The hammer will not reset after a shot. The next round is in the chamber but I have to charge the hammer to fire. I was wondering if I needed to back the trigger screw out a little more, I did the quarter turn as the instructions said. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the hammer being caught by the disconnecter?   Check to be sure the disconnecter spring is fully seated.

The set screw adjusts the amount of sear contact area and can dangerous if not adjusted properly.
