Where is this range? Fun toy, but speak to me about this range.. And what rules does it have?

Its the Golden Pond range at LBL, KY. Its free, there is overhead cover/benches, a long "rifle" and short "pistol" range. You bring your own targets but when your done you either throw them away or haul them back. No range safeties so you are responsible to stay safe.

Shot a Mac-11 last year. I think the 11 is much more controllable.

Yeah I'm ignorant when it comes to NFA items. I called it an SBR which I've been told that MG's can be anything and any length. Also this was the 9mm one so I guess its a 11/9?

I've owned a Mac 10 and Mac 11.  I think the Mac 10 is much more controllable as it's heavier.  The Lage was necessary for the Mac 11 but the Mac 10 was heavy enough that it didn't really need the Lage as much.  What really did help was a really heavy steel suppressor weighting down the front end.

Only if your receiver is the MG you can add any length barrel you want, if its a sear like a HK or RDIAS your host gun better be a SBR if you plan on running anything under a 16" barrel.
