Here's a real story about ousted US Military Leaders, and good damn riddance to 'em:

Granted, there are inept idiot commanders and senior leaders in every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, but I find it disturbing that a litmus test of sorts would be used to form a military leadership of yes men. That's my rating.

If you want to accept one hearsay, fine, but it's inadmissible evidence to me.

I tend to not be gullible, there are more sources than the one noted. Kent State University and the National Guard come to mind, and wheather it is a rogue Sergeant or Captian or a branch Chief Of Staff, orders will be followed. If and when Marshall Law is enacted, I don't want to be an Ostrich with my head in the sand.

I remain unconvinced, since I can't find out anything about this Marshall fellow who some folks keep worrying about? ;)

You may get to know him sooner than you think. Ever wonder why some smaller U.S. cities can apply for and receive Military surplus MRAP's, M-16 and other pieces of equipment?

Whoosh.

1. "marshall" is misspelled.

2. and the actual term is "martial".

Think Marshall Law is a new  TruTV reality series. They go around pounding heads wearing a brown shirt, jack boots and hauling people off to the FEMA death camps in a mine proof vehicle.

Reality may be the proper word.Your brown shirt, jack boot in March of 1938 in Germany was a real show stopper, huh? Ah, but that could never happen here in the good ole U.S.A., right?

Correct, it could never happen here because we have too many eagle eyed citizens keeping track of the FEMA trains.

Nobody ever thought we could've come as close as we did this year to losing our guns and gun rights, and yet the war on the 2nd Amendment is not over. We are facing clear and present dangers from this commie group running the government, and nobody is even paying attention.

Strange view seems to me, since you've already lived through a decade of outright firearm and magazine bans under a much less overall progressive socialist regime than the present one. And Manchin-Toomey didn't actually ban anything.

Eagle eyed citizens, a large section of our society has no idea what is going on around them. I just don't walk on the tracks.

Thank goodness for the 2010 R revolution in the H of Reps that it's the only reason gun owners at present are not outlaws to the government. If left up to Feinstein and company, just about every gun right would've been lost to these commies. My point is that there are many parallels to US and Nazi Germany, and everyone is asleep at the wheel. We're on verge of losing all our liberties and freedoms, and I don't think many people care anymore.

Yeah, but my comment was on "Nobody ever thought we could've come as close as we did this year to losing our guns and gun rights..."

Point being that anybody who lived through the Assault Weapons Ban years surely knows full well we can lose them at any time, since we already did.

I myself was actually somewhat relieved that it was only Manchin-Toomey that finally came up for a vote, which didn't actually ban anything,  and admit I was surprised it didn't pass.

Totally agree. The left will never give up their goal of a total ban of gun rights. A disarmed society is a polite society.

My father was issued a surplus M16A1 when Bush was in office. The SO back home got a bunch in the 90s to put in their trunks, not to mention their APC and fleet of UH1 helicopters. But this is something new you say? Edited by TMF

I think local governments have had access to military surplus either free or almost free, like $1, for decades.

An example that comes to mind are M37 trucks, duece & 1/2's, cucv's. I have seen these units in service by local county & state agencies for a long time. Fire dept, law enforcement, forest service, hwy dept, etc. I have not seen any MRAPs running around Blount County.

In the winter time I always know if the snow plow is coming because I hear it for several minutes before seeing it, the county hwy dept plows my road with an old duece & 1/2. Could not say on the other items that are not as visible.

I don't see a conspiracy brewing in obsolete military equipment being offered to local governments but to each their own. If anything I see it as a good thing to have such equipment transfer from federal government control and into local hands.
