lifetime benefactor

I got online this morning, and went to classifieds to lurk around and it said at the top "you are viewing the classifieds as a standard member....etc" So I went to the client area under my name, then purchases, and changed from standard 6 month recurring subscription to the lifetime benefactor. There was a pending invoice for my 6 month subscription. After I changed to lifetime, it said "your account will automatically be upgraded to lifetime status when the invoice goes through" or something along those lines. I just dont want to be charged twice, once for the 6 month subscription, and once for the lifetime. Am i good?

Believe it or not... I missed seeing this thread til now.  I know... holiday weekend and I spent it with family.  Crazy.  :D

 

Let me dig into this and see what's happened.  Obviously you got your Lifetime Benefactor status somehow, so I suspect the forum did charge you for that.  Perhaps it drafted as an e-check rather than out of money already in your PayPal account, which always takes a bit longer.

Oddly enough, it didn't process yet somehow it still marked you as a Lifetime Benefactor.  I've corrected that and also erased the jacked-up transaction from the account so you should be able to do it again.  :)

 

Meanwhile I'll be sending an email over to IPB to see how this one got messed up.

Idk. I let my benefactor status drop and waited 3 days before upgrading. No problems that I know of.
