These were the first ugly black rifles. I have owned several over the years, but sold or traded them because you'll never make a tack driver out of one, but now in my soft middle age I come back to them... battlefield accuate, ugly and intimidating to look at....

Show me an uglier, more intimidating black rifle?

I love them! they're "minute of man" accurate, which is all you need in all seriousness.

they're extremely robust rifles that don't break..or very rarely break.

they ARE intimidating...they're also very sweet rifles! their only drawback is their weight. 11lbs is a LOT of rifle!

perhaps that's why the atf won't let us import them "as is" anymore..they're worried about our backs.

I thought I had lined up some inch pattern wood stocks for this one, but got an email today saying they are sold-out.... Anyone know where I can get some "slightly used" wood for this one? Inch pattern. This gun has been used, don't wan't new wood on it, but no cracks, I can steam out dents

I'm not selling mine, just not shooting her as much. She'll get a good workout next weekend and the following week, tho. I'll be meeting up with a bunch of FALfilers at Gunner Pool, in the Ozark National Forest near Fiftysix, AR.

Join falfiles.com and place a WTB in the marketplace. The site's probably the best bet for surplus FAL parts as the markets pretty much gone.

As for th FALs. Absolutely love them, reasonably accuate and built to withstand lots of abuse and prolonged periods in the field.
