This seems like a very cool way to use the slidefire stock...Seems to make it very functional as hes ringing that steel @ 100yds no problem

This guy fabbed up a bushing to make the M60 Bipod work on the AR15 platform

This has intrigued me...Where can one acquire an M60 bi-pod from?

I bought 2 from ozark surplus just last week... The aren't cheap the going rate seems to be around $175-$200.... I also snagged a slidefire for $199.00 Shipped from gunup.com... They were running a sale a few weeks back...So I will have around $400 in the setup plus whatever it cost me to come up with a bushing for the bipod to work with Edited by mcordell

Seems like that's just asking to get your hand pinched while it cycles, but maybe not.

It actually wouldn't ... If you look at the rifle in my original post with the slidefire the stock doesn't cover the entire top portion of the buffer tube ... Either way it only requires a little forward pressure to get it rolling ... I'm sure you could just apply pressure anywhere that was comfortable

I've only shot with one once so I wasn't sure how much space there was between the top of the stock and the back of the upper.  Either way, looks like fun and a lot more controllable than off-hand.  I could only manage about 10 rds before the muzzle walked off the target.
