New NRA board members are reformers

According to Cam & Company, the newly elected NRA board members want to reform the NRA and restore it's name.

Good, but until that happens I'm gonna keep hanging up on them like I did yesterday.

I didn't watch the video but I hope this comes true. I'll hold off on any money until they show results.

I think this is pretty much what most people are going to do. I wish them all the success in the world as I would love to see the NRA become what Giffords and Brady thinks it is. The linchpin of everything is to keep an eye on if they are taking action to reduce the size of the board. If no action is taken to reduce the size of the board to a proper level, then you know they’re full of it. The entire construction of the current NRA board is to enable graft and prevent accountability. Without fixing that, there is no fixing the NRA.

Chuck makes a valid point. No matter how well intentioned, a small handful of reformers will soon find themselves treated as outcasts among the greedy and crooked majority who don't want change.

Like many, I'll wait and see. 🙄

I'd just be happy to see some whistleblowers on the board, so that when the scumbags try to continue being sketchy, we will hear about it. There is no disinfectant like sunlight, right?

I had built up a fair number of years ahead on my dues by doing there multi year deals before I needed to, so I have been coasting on membership for 5 or 6 years.  I'm hopping there is a clear direction before my dues are up for renewal next year so I know if I want to continue. GOA, 2nd Amendment and TN Firearms have been getting my new money for a while now.
