that XDS recall

I finally got around to registering online and getting the shipping label to return my xds for the recall.  I think I can drop by FedEx tonight.  Hopefully I procrastinated long enough that the return will be soon.

When I sent mine in, I waited over 3 months. By the time I got it back I had convinced myself I didn't need it. So I sold it.

I would not be surprised if that is what ends up happening

Sent mine in last Oct. and had to wait 72 days to get it back. I should have waited, it fuctioned and shot fine. A week or two turn arround is great.

OUCH.  I thought I should wait awhile for the madness to die down.

I find mine to be a very good shooter. Did not shoot it before it sent it off but very pleased with it.

While it was away, I became reacquainted with my xd9 subcompact.  I really like it, maybe more than the xds. I really do like the fiber optic front sight on the xds though

I'm thinking of adding both the XDs 9mm and .45 to my wish list.  One of the things I've read is that the trigger on them post-recall is pretty bad, at least until it's fired a few hundred times and re-broken in.  Just wondering what your experience has been in that regard.  Thanks!
