Jim Fuller @ Rifle Dynamics recently talked about his company working in concert with other American companies to replicate the Kalashnikov design to make the AK platform the new American gun...with the machining tech being what it is these days I dont see that comment of yours being too far from becoming reality...

 

Of course not. Look how many build AK's now. I don't care about the rifles. They're available anyway. The only thing out of the pack that I really care about is the shotgun.

I haven't fired one, but have been around them and fondled them. Best fighting shotgun there is!

 

I'm like mike on this one... The shotgun is where it's at.... I hope someone starts doin them... I might have to put my beloved model 97's and model 12's into honored retirement and re-arm with the AK shotgun...
