Westmoreland Gunshow

Recommended Posts

I don't know for sure.  Given where it is I don't think it will be a big show but given where it is no telling what will walk in.  I have a buddy that is going to have a table up there and going to help him out if he needs it. Also going to grab a few things from David.

I went what I think was the last time they had one.  I want to say that was last year but time flies and it could have been closer to two years.  At that time it was pretty small.  Fair number of walk arounds for the size.  I wasn't that interested in much other than modern handguns at the time so it was kind of a bust at the time.  As my interests have broadened since than it could be a better experience this time.  I'm also wondering if the loss of the Hendersonville show may help this one out.

All of that useless half-remembrance drivel aside, I'm likely to give it a shot.  Not that far a drive for me.  $5 admission and free parking is ultimately a bargain for the opportunity to check out David's wares IMHO.

The first show they had there was pretty big. A lot of vendors had things like high end knives, that just didn't sell in Westmoreland. It has since become smaller, but in my opinion is still worth a look. I'll be there. I've found several good deals from individuals there.

Unless you need reloading stuff from David, I'd save my money and gas.

Anyone know what barrier prevents Middle Tennessee from having a decent gun show? It certainly isn't lack of interest.

If you see a guy with a black Brooks & Dunn backpack stop and say hi.

Was going to, but the guy this backpack was attached to was talking and talking and talking............, and I didn't want to interrupt. :D

Depending on who I was talking to you probably should have. Might have saved them from me.

It wasn't a great show but not the absolute worst I have been to. A lot of stuff walking around but nothing that caught my eye.

Did pick up some bullets from David and a Chinese M53 Mosin from another table. Been wanting one for awhile so I can make good sized fireballs.

I'm just ribbing you. You were talking to David.

You are correct. It wasn't the worst I've been to either. That award goes to Lebanon, TN.

One vendor did have some 22 ammo. I didn't think it was a "deal", but he didn't have confiscatory prices either.

I'm glad to have almost met you anyway.
