Dust cover clip

Recommended Posts

They can! But in this case, I was puttig together one for a buddy. It came with a complete upper, but the dust cover spring wasn't on right and the cover just flapped around. Got the clip off and pushed the rod back far enough to set the spring. Then had a heck of time putting the clip back on. Was almost to the point of takin the barrel off but finally after an hour of cussing got it back on!

I had an AR blow up in my hands (thanks, Ultramax) at On Target years ago... about a month later I was in there and one of the guys says "I got something of yours" and hands me my dust cover. They found it down by the backstop. Haha! Unrelated, but I still get a chuckle every time I think about it. :-)
