Who Can Stipple a Glock?

Recommended Posts

Responded, I mentioned fine in my email back to you guys but you may want to send that photo if you guys proceed. I've seen him do all kinds but not sure if he lurks on the boards.. he's a busy guy so might not see this post.

Thx Garrett

Just sent him an email of what I want done.

I'll second the comment that you can do it!

I like a Dremel tool more than a soldering iron or wood burner though. Practice on some magazine bases or Pmags and you will be good to go.

Heck if that guy falls through I'll even help you do it.

Thanks ehull2000. Can you post images of your pistol? I remember shooting it at MCSC and liking it.

Here you go.  I don't care about patterns on my guns so it doesn't look real pretty, but if you took your time it would look killer.  This is the one I used a Dremel on.  I also have one I did with a wood burner.  I like the Dremel better between the two.

Can you post a picture of the one you did with a wood burner?

This close up shows why I prefer the dremel to the wood burner. It is very easy to get the heat setting wrong which melts the Glock frame more than I like. It still makes for a good grip, but not worth the effort in my opinion.

I don't have the steady hand, time, or patience to do that now. I appreciate the pics and advice. Next one I mess with I'll take you up on your offer.

Wayne Rose in Clarksville did a good job on my G34. Stipple, grip reduction, and finger groove removal. He pops in at Tennessee Gun Country, and I think I have his card somewhere.
