So long to another great one.....Glenn Frey R.I.P

Got in the car headed for the dentist this morning, and Michael DelGiono, was talking about this as well on 99.7.

I always enjoy listening to him and Ralph when I'm out in the mornings.

Anyway, he was lamenting the loss as well, giving instances where Glenn and the Eagles had impacted his young life. Spoke highly of them of course, and played several audio clips of Glenn speaking at their induction into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame.

All this got me very nostalgic for the 70s, so I went to Best Buy and bought a copy of the Eagles Greatest Hits, and have been listening to it all day.

I'll have it playing inside when wifey gets home too.

Glenn and the Eagles have left a legacy of great import on the American music scene. At least we still have that.

So for Glenn Frye a Rest In Peace friend, and now go to join that great rock'n'roll band in Heaven.

When my wife and I first met we danced to "I can't tell you why" from the Long Run album.
Always considered that our song.

We are in the era where all these great bands and musicians will start passing on, sure makes you feel old and sad to see it.
