I hate public education! I regularly have to deprogram my kids from the liberal global warming and racist cr@p taught in our schools.

I remember being in grade school, and we had a science fair. This was interesting to me, so I worked hard on my entry. I made a black and white camera from an oatmeal box, and developed my pictures in a makeshift darkroom in our bathroom at home. I feel I did a really good job on the project and display. I was proud to take it to school for others to see.

Instead of hearing "good job" from the teacher judges, I remember being told there was no way a child my age could have completed this project. Someone obviously did it for me. This was the official end of my putting any effort forth or giving a damn about anything to do with school. That feeling has never left me.

It was my experience that school staff degrade hard work and effort, and reward mediocrity. I haven't seen a change ofr any degree since then.
