Lone Survivor movie

Just saw that they will be making a film based on Marcus Luttrell's Lone Survivor. Peter Berg (director of The Kingdom) will be the Director, Screenwriter, and Exec Producer. No actors have been named yet. Mr. Luttrell will have heavy involvement in the film and will have quite a bit of control over most aspects of it, so guaranteed it will probably be as authentic as possible. Due out in 2011. I for one will be the first in line to see it.

I just re-read it last week. Definitely prepare yourself to be in awe of what this man and his team went through up in the Hindu Kush Mtns. His survival is nothing short of miraculous.

It's a great book, amazing story, though like BlackHawk Down will be hard to watch. I love watching movies/series like Saving Private Ryan and BoB as they are fiction based on real events, but knowing I'm being 'entertained' by the real stories of the deaths of true heros always bothers me.

Took me three tries to get all the way through BHD...
