My Corporate response to MDA, if I ever start a corporation.

Recommended Posts

I'll never start a corporation, especially one that may get the attention of MDA or any other anti-gun group but I do have a basic form letter to send to any of them.

Dear MDA (Mothers Demand Action):

Regarding your recent correspondence about your concern with customers who have a legal carry permit and carry their firearm on our property, we would like to offer you our response.

We at corporation have a strict policy that reads, corporation strongly supports the Constitution of the United States, corporation does not support nor tolerate bigotry of any kind towards our customers therefor we will not discriminate against our law abiding customers for choosing to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights and lawfully carry a firearm on our property and in our buildings.

Corporation is sure that you are aware that law abiding American citizens who choose to exercise their Constitutional rights and carry a firearm are responsible tax paying Americans and are of no danger to any other law abiding person, and corporation is disappointed in anyone or organization who stereotypes and has a bigoted attitude towards our law abiding responsible customers, it is no different than discriminating or stereotyping someone because of their race, gender or religious beliefs.

Thank You:

Corporation.

You get stuff from mda? You must be on their list they got from nanny or bho.

I was speaking hypothetically.  I actually deleted my home address from the database the Democrats use to identify supporters and donors to keep off as many mailing lists as I can when I left the campaign I interned for.

Besides, I get enough "send money now" direct mailings from the pro-gun orgs since they must share data, or buy it from gun sale websites I shop on.  Between those, Comcast, AT&T, and all the mail I get for the previous four residents of my current residence, my mailman rarely brings something worthwhile anymore.

There are too many folks out there asking for money, caps on election spending are needed and it might even make for more fair elections.

So I wonder if it was planned that Mothers Demand Action use the same call letters as Muscular Dystrophy Association?

Personally, I would not even respond to their silliness. These types thrive on the attention they create and receive. They would "die on the vine" if no one even acknowledged them.

That is probably the best response, no response. If they send the company letters, put them on your advertizing list, start sending them a bunch of flyers and postcards advertizing your product. Kroger should start sending them a paper with all their grocery sales, whole chickens $1.75 per pound.
