I am not certain. I believe in one New England state it was found that the state was not destroying the records and had years and years of them when they were discovered. My understanding is that they are supposed to be destroyed after 72 hours.

The record of the BG check is deleted after 72 hours. The FFL maintains the form you filled out but it is not a registration. You are free to sell the firearm to anyone that is over 18 and is legally allowed to own it to your knowledge.

I hate effing exercising. Monday is my one day a week off. Well Tuesday I fell asleep about 5 or so and didnt wake up until after midnight. I work out before bed so I skipped it since it was so late. Wednesday I had detail stripped a gun for the first time and was trying to remember how to get it back together and it got to late again. Thursday I flew to Cincinnati. Came back today and it was like pulling teeth to get in here and do it. I havent gotten to ride the bike since Monday or Tuesday either going to Pigeon Forge tomorrow but Im sure the hotel has a workout room.

I like my iphone. As a former Verizon customer I hated their phones and the crap they would put on them and how they would lock functionality down. Sprint is offering some crazy deals right now and they get new phones. I just dont think anyone would have the network that Verizon has.

I am talking about the Army here. Im not familiar with the other branches.

My point was really that people join to have their college debt paid off and go in as enlisted. They come in as Specialist/E-4's though.

You dont automatically go in as an officer just for having a degree. You do not have to have a degree to become an officer.
