Those of us who follow BCGO (Blount County Gun Owners) on facebook have seen the event for joining the American Legion in Maryville. (Post 13 on Waters Rd). There is a big membership push/get together to join on Wednesday, March 5th at 5:30pm. The Legion has a gun range, and you can use it/get your own key for only $35-LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP!   You still have to pay yearly dues at the Legion to use the range, but you'll never pay range fees again.  You need to be a veteran, a spouse or child of a veteran, to join. If your father or grandfather served and you want to join The Sons Of The Legion please bring proof of their service and as much info as you can such as DD214, SSN, DOB etc. If you didnt serve and dont have family that served you can still be a huge help by joining as a Auxiliary Member. This a great oppurtunity for BCGO members to have access to a shooting range, The Legion Riders and the Clubhouse, Carry Classes etc. Membership prices will depend on what your looking for. If I recall its 25.00 to join and a 35.00 one time fee for the range for life as long as you pay you yearly dues and are a member in good standing and 5.00 key fee( I will edit this if this incorrect). agreed. again, that is the point of this thread. to start the groundwork for an introduction to start building trust. I am not asking for someone to just opn their doors and say "come look at what I have and here's a list of all those who are members". Obviously, I have not clearly stated what I am looking to do. Every group starts with just 2 people meeting and talking and getting to know each other. It goes from there if both sides gain trust from the other. 

very disappointed. thank goodness for DVR since there were soooo many commercials.  The carl & rick drama was a little overdone. we get it. rebelious teenageer and his strict, overbearing dad. move on already. hopefully that lameness is done, since they overplayed it.

I was informed that the next production run will be shipping within 2 weeks and there is still time to get in on it. I, sadly, have not gotten a set yet to review on my page. They want to get as many out to customers as possible since the demand is so high. Wish I had a review for everyone.

I know there must be others out there who would want "allies" or "teammates" when the SHTF. Thats why I was throwing this out there, but I guess those people aren/t readint his or trusting me> I am not asking for location, inventory or defense plans. Just an email discussion, or a meet up for a coffee and chat.  First steps. Baby steps.

  Maybe sneaky was not the appropriate word. When I carry, I inform any police officer that interacts with me. I let them know what I am carrying, where it is, and in what condition it is in (chambered, loaded, etc). I don't do it to be submissive or scared, I do it out of respect and courtesy. Most LEO's are good guys, and I appreciate them.   I just think we should be up front about it. If I was a cop, I would hope "good guys" would let me know.

I looked back through this forum, and didn't see anything like this for a couple years back.    I am in Alcoa, and not in a financial situation to buy land. However, I am interested in a possible Blount county bug out location. Looking for someone within 15-20 miles that has ample land, and could use others during SHTF for help with security, work, common interest stuff, etc.   Feel free to PM me or send me an email to JaxJohn1419@gmail.com   Or maybe there is a possibility of a group getting together to buy some land and work together to establish a retreat? A few families on a 5-10 acre plot would be ideal, imho.    maybe there's already a group like this. Please feel free to reach out.

  I appreciate the candor about the work. The example used about the T's is just the way the text in the program did it. I didn't personally choose to use only lower case t's, but I appreciate what your saying. The colors are definitely a little obnoxious in some as well. I tried to vary things up a little bit and just went too far. I am by no means a graphic designer, I'm just a 2A supporter that wanted to spread some ideals, ideas, thoughts and info. These posters were my first attempt at doing such.  I was kind of hoping for feedback on the content as well. Some of it is original and some are actual memes. As far as the definition of meme, the connotation of "internet meme" has become exactly what I posted above.I know it's a view/belief that gets passed around and shared, but the term "meme" has been taken over by the internet (collectively) as a term for these "posters" that people create and share to mock, illustrate a point or share their thoughts.   Thanks again

Anyone know of a website that sells glock mags cheap that accepts Paypal? I got a refund and have money in my Paypal account, so thats what I want to use to buy the magazines. Also, anyone know if the aftermarket versions are decent?
