I agree with projectdexter. I also have a interest in solar activity and know how serious they can be. And if the right flare hit the right spot, the riots would def begin. It could knock power out for years.

I only have my regular license and after seeing some of the pay rates for armed guards, I am not interested in one. I make more unarmed than any armed position around here offers...

I've shot both the sks and the ak and I prefer the ak. They are very similar, but I am drawn to the ak for some reason. I bought a WASR 10 for $500 and it came with 2 mags and bayonet plus a few extras. I love it and it shoots good and accepts tapco mags. I would highly recommended one.

The empty shell casing is the test fired round from the factory. It is put in there to show you its been tested and functions properly. I have a Walther sp22 and have nothing but great stuff to say about it. I know you will enjoy yours.

I sold mine as well, and to this day kick myself for selling it. Great gun!

When I prepared some of my bottom round for jerky, I tenderized it before I marinated it. It made it easier to bite and I believe it helped the marinade soak in.

I turn up my radio and cannot hear the bell.... I do buckle up on the interstate though...

I got pulled over and let the officer know I had my HCP and pistol. He initially asked if he could hold it and I let him. Once he realized who I was, he gave me my pistol back and sent me on my way. (I am not famous or nothing...He knew my dad from back in the 80s and 90s where they were police officers together)

I find if I don't try to be a good shot I will be a good shot, and if i try to be a good shot, I won't. So now i just shoot and have become a fabulous shot by not caring if I hit it or not. (but I do hit it...seems weird but it works for me) I wish I could make more sense but maybe you just have to be there...

I have the 23 and added a hogue tactical grip to it. I think it was around $10 at bass pro and I absolutely love the way it handles now!

The extended mag is direct from High Point. The guy I got it from had purchased one at a gun show, but it would not function properly. High point asked him to send it in and they sent him this one. He claims it functions flawlessly. I will probably shoot on Sunday and will have a full report on Monday.

I wonder if it was necessary to "lock down" just because they saw a man with a gun? I would like to know exactly what he was doing that made them so nervous. I always thought the gun wasn't the danger, it was the user....Maybe I think too much...

Got this yesterday and cannot wait to try it out. I've heard lots of good things about the Highpoint carbines. [/img]
