  1. Only if you want the new address printed on the permit, yes. But it's not required as long as you've changed your address with the state, and it's the same system as changing your address in the system as for a DL.
  2. It would have been nice if they had incorperated the DAK trigger in the P250, that would have been a nice combo.
  3. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Yeah, this is my only complaint with the P3AT... honestly, if they would have designed the gun to hold the hammer with more tension, a stronger spring perhaps, firing from the short reset could be made to be very reliable. The initial pull would be harder maybe, but it's really not an issue as it is. I'm very happy with the size of the P3AT, but I will replace it with a Kahr or a J-frame at the next opportunity.
  4. The one I held reminded me of an FN FNP.
  5. For what you pay, it's really not exceptional. But, I'm sure it'll fill a niche.
  6. Change your address with the state: https://www.tennesseeanytime.org/chgdl/ And then set up your mail to be forwarded by changing your address with the USPS: https://moversguide.usps.com/?referral=USPS
  7. Mostly just here and the Neil Patrick Harris Fan Club.
  8. Well crap. It looks like my wife and I will have to be back in Tullahoma by about 1pm, which means that we won't have time to do more than walk around the Gun Show in Smyrna for a bit before we have to head back... I guess we'll have to miss this one, unless something changes. Send some rounds down-range for us...
  9. I had a dream last night that I was shooting a Dan Wesson CBOB...
  10. I'd be more worried about a bullet rupturing a pressurized gas line and creating a spray or mist which could more easily be ignited (muzzle blast...)

    which is best

The G36 is the slimmest option... just to throw that out there.
  12. I like my XD-9 Tactical, but I really don't think that it's the 'utimate' gaming gun by any means. Try them all would be my first reccommendation, but honestly, if you're so accustomed to your G19, why not look at a G34?
  13. Is it possible that you short-stroked the trigger and released the hammer from the pre-cocked position, instead of drawing it back first? I have done that with mine, and it will misfire about half the time if I don't let the trigger fully return forward.
  14. ^^^^^^ Yes, as a new member you may not have full access to all areas of the forum. It is simply an automatic graduating ranking as you gain more posts and have been here longer. You will become a 'Registered Member' shorty, with a few more posts and in a week or so.
  15. That's the truth... but I think it also shows which side is is more organized and has a better grassroots communication network to bring this many more people out in support.
  16. I generally shoot guns with heavy triggers with it right on my first joint, the lighter the trigger and slower I'm shooting, the closer I'll move it to the tip. The average 5-7lb trigger while shooting rapidly is most effective for me rested right in the middle, on the pad.
  17. He used his weapon successfully, because he survived unharmed (mostly due to luck, I must admit), I hope that this was a lesson for him to prepare better to make hits under stress... I do wonder where his shots went...
  18. <TABLE class=text_black cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width=440 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=text_black align=middle colSpan=2>Should properly permitted UT students be allowed to carry concealed handguns on campus? </TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=2><TABLE borderColor=#666666 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width=440 border=1><TBODY><TR><TD class=text_black align=left width=223>Yes </TD><TD class=text_black align=left width=203> 232 Votes </TD></TR><TR><TD class=text_black align=left>No </TD><TD class=text_black align=left> 201 Votes </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR><TR><TD class=text_black align=middle colSpan=2>Total Votes Cast: 433 </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
  19. One of these? I don't see any electronic owners manuals, and it appears that the gun was only assembled by Intratec, the major parts jobbed out to other companies. Be careful if you shoot it.
  20. Good for him! This would have (and does) have the opposite outcome in places like Chicago...
  21. I'd probably consider the M&P45c, but I didn't care for the DA trigger pull of the HK45c which I handled the other day.
  22. My wife mentioned that she wanted to stop in... probably before or after the meet on Saturday.
  23. No, seriously, it seems that the newer P220s are having extractor problems here and there which are taking multiple trips back to the factory to fix.
