So if they saying the ban wmight not happen, how long before the prices start dropping?

IF there is a ban, you'll be glad to get something at a higher price before you can't get them at all. IF there is no ban, you'll probably feel disappointed in paying a high price for something. (I've had this happen both ways before plenty of times, buying something and seeing a better price elsewhere and actually getting a good deal I can't find anywhere else). IF there is no ban, prices will come back down, but not at the prices we're used to seeing. I'll bet they will still be above the "Before Panic" prices. It's kinda like playing the stock market.

Probably gonna switch from my LCP to my Glock 30. Wearing more clothing to conceal plus with everything thats happened in CT. kinda worried about copy-cats and would feel better with the higher caliber. I'll have my boys all Christmas weekend and it's more for them than anything.

I've got a really screwy work schedule and only get off every third weekend but I did just got my garand re-barreled and have a 4 day weekend coming up so I think I'll see if she wants to then.

They make risers for that instead of having to change the gas block or changing the sight. It is true also that you dont use the plastic front sights on the gas block if you shoot a lot.

If you have the money to spend, go for the colt, but there are many brand name ar's besides colts that are just as good and lots cheaper and most nowadays shoot both 223 and 556. Look on the barrel up near the flash surpressor or on the magazine well to see if it does or not. The M4 is very popular now. I love mine. Fun to shoot.
