  1. That is true but I forgot a withdrawal slip and didn't want to hold up the drive thru line filling it out. Besides, it has a lot to do about the fees too when other banks don't charge them.
  2. I was personally asked to remove my hat when I went in to get a large withdrawl to buy a truck. I felt a little antsy having to leave the gun in the truck with that kind of money on me.
  3. ""Thank you for your email. We apologize that you are dissatisfied with our recent price changes. These changes in pricing are a direct result of recent regulatory changes that have shifted the burden of the cost of doing business. These increases are implemented to ensure that other aspects of our banking relationship continue to remain free, such as Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and our TeleBanking services. However, we have forwarded your feedback as an official complaint and have documented your concerns. "" My email to them was about their pricing for use of bank cards and their posting at their stores of gun buster signs and removing of hats. Wonder why they said nothing about the latter two? I also said I was actively looking for another bank.
  4. We were just talking about Medal of Honor's the other day at work. So I decided to look it up and they are entitled to lots of neat stuff.
  5. You might be able to get your great grandfathers personel records from this website. Start Your Military Service Record (DD Form 214) Request
  6. I probably would've helped but not drawn unless they turned their rage against me which the one guy was doing a pretty good job of keeping them off her and they didn't turn on him. I think the best course of action would've been to seperate them by taking the beaten one in the bathroom and locking the door or taking her behind the counter somewhere. The other guys are total wimps for just standing around and filming.
  7. I had to lol with this one. Seriously, if they want to ask personal questions like that, make your own questionaire for them to fill out and see how they like it.
  8. When I used to drive over the road years ago, we were told that there were gangs that were purposely driving at night without their lights on waiting for someone to flash their lights at them. Then the ones that flashed would be targets for a drive-by. BTW, when you do flash, and sometimes it's ok to, turn them off and on to flash. Don't hit your high beams.
  9. I guess people are wanting top dollar for their used guns because of the bad economy. On top of that, maybe good priced used guns are hard to find because people snatch them up and new ones are the better option than buying used ones at the same price.
  10. Some things I noticed. Didn't the wife say she had a permit? I thought she did, but she didn't know how to hold the gun? The daughter had her finger on the slide when she shot her one round. None of them I thought had proper hand positions when shooting. The store owner flew off the handle too quick because dad asked if they could get a deal on the holsters. The daughter said she thought the owner was gonna pull his gun on them. That was ignorant to say.
  11. I might indulge in a few so I won't be carrying. Bummer about the Gibson store and the mall. I guess I'll have to settle on going through Gruhns. What's the best place for lunch downtown? Margaritaville always seems pretty crowded.
  12. I'm gonna be in Nashville all day Saturday this weekend. What's going on there? Is the mall open yet? I would like to go to the Gibson store. When do the bands start playing in all those clubs on the strip? Gotta hit Tootsies.
  13. There's Powell Auctions on Clinton Highway behind Wal-Mart. They have gun auctions there every once in a while.
  14. Ok, I'll be the bad guy and correct that it is an HCP and not a ccp. Seeing that you are new to this , I think it is imperative that we as permit holders get it right so we can explain to the uninformed the details properly.
  15. I'm with you Willis. I used to drive otr but went to something else but kept my A endorsement just in case. I did keep my haz mat for a while till they started charging for it, then I let it drop.
  16. Yea, that's the one. If things turn out good in this case, maybe I'll have more faith in using them.
  17. Didn't something similar happen at another Walgreens? I was already not using Walgreens because of another incident.
  18. Is there a fee with Y-12 on using somebody elses ATM machine? What Banks don't charge a fee for using another's ATM? The only up side that I stay with Regions is ATM availability.
  19. Where do you draw the line then if you won't do anything for Wal-Mart? All businesses have insurance. What if it was a mom and pop store? Would you do something then? To me it's not the fact that they stole beer, it's the fact that they are stealing, period, and I will do what is neccessary. I was in the almost exact situation before but had my 2 young boys with me but still was able to get a good description and license number and they were caught later.
  20. In Maryville and Lenoir City, they are also posted with a sign that says to remove hats and sunglasses. I want to and tried to move banks but can't get another because my now Ex got us in some kind of system that banks check when you open new accounts that show us (Me) as bad credit or something or other. I tried to open one with Alcoa Federal Credit Union and that's what they said. I haven't tried any others yet.
  21. Stupid stuff he did. #1 Returned to the scene and getting into a confrontation. #2 Got out of his car with the pistol and threatened to shoot. #3 Dumped the gun at Daycare. #4 Calling cops even though it sounds like he didn't have a permit. If the gun left an imprint on his spare tire cover in his trunk, that means he probably stopped to get it out before returning to the scene.
  22. I'll probably be going to the big Harbor Freight sale so I'll probably stop in while I'm up there.
