Really cool review, I am not much into these guns (mostly due to funds and have other items higher on the list) but I think I will purchase a target gun eventually. As for looks IMO I like the Model 41 better. I might be crazy?!

Let's go with this scenario (which was in my head when I made the post) you are at the gas station, somebody approaches you (don't throw in I'm aware of my surroundings, it can happen to anybody no matter how good you are) from the back and puts a gun up to your head. They say "Give me the keys to your car or I'm going to blow your f***ing brains out". You reach for your keys and they see your gun or they want your wallet and they see your gun. What are you going to do? Beat him to the punch by turning around, pulling out your gun and shooting him? I highly doubt it. Sorry to not clarify of what was going through my head. Also I don't need to rethink carrying but thanks. Given the situation I just stated, who knows. Hopefully everybody can avoid these situations as best as possible...

I got it right the first time I saw it in psychology but still not very reliable especially when something hectic and stressful is going on.

I'm surprised this hasn't happened to me. I've had a Corvette since I was 17, but if it ever comes down to it (even if I am carrying) I will just give them the car and my gun (if they spot it) to save my life. I'd rather avoid a shoot out. Cars and guns can be replaced, people can't.

Well I'm just chiming in, I joined this site to learn because my firearm knowledge is very limited. Seems to be a pretty helpful place, however sometimes my sarcasm doesn't always get caught but that's expected on the internet. My area of "expertise" is automobiles and I rarely bother to correct anybody anymore due to starting an argument or whatever. If somebody asks questions then I'm glad to help. Just seems it's not worth the trouble engaging with others on certain topics.

With this season you may see it. Vegas put us at 6.5 wins this season (or so I hear). If that's true I'm taking the over.

A friend's property down in Cleveland, Tennessee. It's on 500~ acres, used to be 1200~ but he sold some of it off.

I'm not too up to date on this but it has to do with the firing pin block I believe? I guess I can look this up and may be a dumb question but does the Series 70 come NIB? Or is only the Series 80 made now? Guess it's the Series 80 only now.

I guess I can see how that could come off wrong. I knew they weren't just pushing people around to be doing it, but I know I'd be pissed off by it. Still funny to watch.

What I've decided is I'm going to either get a basic 1911 Colt or Springfield. Then shoot the crap out of it. If I like it or want improvements I will go to somebody to make improvements on the action and barrel. Thanks for all of the input guys. I just think it's important to not start to high on the totem pole so that I can learn as I go.

Those are pretty sweet trucks, I love the color. I was looking at trucks recently to maybe get out of my car. However I don't know if I could pick one of these over a diesel super duty.

My most prized possession was made in Bowling Green, Kentucky. However most things have been outsourced to other country now a days. I can't recall but my engine might even be from Canada (or Dearborn, MI).
