The higher ups sure had a good time on our money. When they busted Wayne LaPierre on all his illegal perks to the tune of 5.2 million, it sure shined a light on their corruption. I was no longer an NRA member after almost 30 years. I'm sure we're kicking a dead horse here, but good to be reminded why gun owners should swing their support to Gun Owners of America and other such pro-gun organizations. Our local range, Middle Tn Sporting Association, voted to eliminate the long running requirement of belonging to the NRA to be a MTSA member last year. That vote easily passed.

I have the Henry Long Ranger in .223. I was amazed at the accuracy coming out of a lever gun. It will shoot with my bolt rifles for group size.

Charlie, if you're just learning the ropes, don't limit yourself to just chasing trout. Bluegill are a blast on a flyrod, and they're spawning now. Find a pond or lake with shallow banks and wear 'em out. I've flyfished for many years, still do, but tend to chase "other species" nowadays. I've caught redfish in Florida on fly, and poor man's redfish, aka common carp, up here along the banks of the Cumberland river during summer time. My best, a 12 lb carp, is quite the battle on a fly rod!

Nice shape for its age, shiny bore. I am assuming it is a 7x57 caliber but it is not marked anywhere and I've never shot it.

I believe we're just at the cutting edge of war machine drones for battle. I saw a program the other day on how Ukraine had gotten really good at jamming Russian drones (and vice versa), so now Russia has a new one that flies by wire (fiber optic cable) up to 12 miles. No signal to jam ... so jammers won't stop it.

It's pretty in person...for some reason the lighting makes the nickel look really scratchy! It has fine scratches, but not as bad as it looks in the photos!
