  1. I use it a lot with cast bullets in most pistol calibers per manual, Good stuff. Some of the older old guys are not fans because it’s not a filling powder and double charges are possible for those who reload in a hurry or start at max charges and get careless. Thats a 2008 price I believe. Your a good man kvmx. Good score for thursty, Mike

  4. Sounds and looks like your good to go then. on other reloading forums I’ve read horror stories where guys loaded rounds, had to adj col to a shorter dim., and had bad results because their loads were close to max and the extra pressure from seating the bullet deeper gave them over pressure results. I had a compressed rifle load in .223 that made me nervous pulling the trigger but I researched it to hell before I stuffed the cases and fired them. Mike
  5. Just beware as you seat them deeper PRESSURE will go up. Not sure where you powder charge is at in low, mid or near max ? Watch for pressure signs. Depending on if and how you may have crimped them, if your bullets are not to soft you could try seating them down a little more. just take your time and be sure the Primers are all seated below the case. Ive had to bump a few loaded rounds n the past to a shorter OAL and had good success. I did this on a single stage press, not a progressive. Be safe, wear eye protection when reloading. Mike

    CB radios?

Some one correct me if I’m wrong but the last time I spoke with ATT tech support which was 2 yrs ago about crappy cell coverage where I lived, I had told them my concerns out in my back field was for emergency needs and I had little to no cell signal ! ! They told me that 911 works off of satellite and ANY cell phone will connect to 911 even if it’s not connected to a service. He then said you can test this by dialing 411 because information works off the same system as 911..and they have your gps location at the same time. Again NO cell service signal but still connects to 911? I relied on this info but never had used this. I would guess a call to your cell provider would confirm this or deny this claims of today’s new systems in place. I would never expect anyone to be monitoring a cb, marine nor a ham repeater or simplex frequency when you needed it the most ! Just my old $.02 worth, Mike
  14. There is/was a gun smith named Rocky and he did work for several shops. I have no idea how to find him but I’d call around to any of the gun shops and ask. Mike
  15. All you guys must be old ? Meatloaf who ? Back home we had a theater that had a “Special midnight” showing of Rocky horror. Had to be 18yrs old with real proof ! They would let you bring in your choice of drinks most had a bottle and bought the mixers if any. Many inside there smoked pot but the best was most everyone there either dressed up like the characters or brought props and acted out the scenes. Like news paper over your head when Brad and Janet walked to the house, people had spray bottles so it did rain in the theater. GREAT TIME ALWAYS ! (Second hand smoke prolly helped too ) Lol The volume was up and that place cranked !!!! Kids today will never know what they missed ! R.I.P. MEATLOAF ! Mike
