  1. Here are the pics side by side with a G19, G26, PM9 and the HK00SK but I'll tell you for that price its a steal. [/url]
  2. The P2000sk is a great piece, I have a V3. It is only a sub-compact not super. I personally prefer to have da/sa instead of dao, I got mine new and I think OTD was $870. There was a shop with a .40 on consignment for $700 about a month ago. Also, I have a G26, G19, Kahr PM9 and LCP - the hk is between the size of the 26 & 19. Slightly thicker than the glocks because of the ambi slide stop. I can snap a few pics of the comparison side by side if you want. If you can pick it up for a good price I wouldn't hesitate, mine has had 0 hiccups.
  3. It comes down to how we are all wired differently and your response to the given situation. Experience, situations and environments play a large role any time you release rounds and we own them wherever they come to rest. A "Smart idea" though would be to end the invasion as rapidly as possible within the limits of the law while you still have the advantage and ability to do so. You can wait if you want but I would venture to say they aren't using a tool like that to just come in and relieve you innocently of your belongings. Myself, I perceive that to be a threat to the life of myself and my family. Precedences have been set in varying degrees depending on the venue, Google "home invader shot through door". Interesting site about all the casualties of No Knocks and the like gone wrong, John Adams of Lebanon, TN is the first entry. http://www.drugwarrant.com/articles/drug-war-victim/
  4. Amazed at how fortunate this woman and her child were, hopefully she is compensated for any "Damages" she or her child received. I like others would probably have put things in motion that would have affected a different out come. Chainsaw??? Castle doctrine?? Rounds are definitely going through the door before they make entry, how recognition would occur and deescalation if possible after that - questionable at the most.
  5. You are going to enjoy that Kahr, I summer carry my pm9 also then during the colder weather my hk p2000sk is on duty.
  6. At this point with the anti gun stance of NY, IL and CA legislators this doesn't surprise me at all. At least they are separated and aren't trying to create a coordinated or unified front to violate our liberties. Oh wait its election season - the temp will change on this issue soon.
  7. Roll Tide... but hey the officiating crew has a vote too. Just like the last game with the tide catch on the 3 that was ruled a take away upon review. FWIW the good book says it goes to the receiver if he maintains control (which he did), this year the reviewers have made some sh**ty overturns. Just look at that outstanding 1 handed catch by VT last night in the Sugar Bowl that was overturned. Even the announcers were amazed. It will be an awesome game though and either way the SEC takes home another one.
  8. Nice how to, thanks for sharing. I guess I'm headed to Lowe's again.
  9. Appreciating time with the family, especially my girls. Merry Christmas to you all.
  10. Dolomite - that is some nice looking work.

+100 I think the DBDA series along with "The Walking Dead" has pushed the genre to what it has evolved to in the last 2 years. I can't wait for DBDA3.
  12. Just got through, all is well turns out they are just really busy doing a lot of pink cerakote jobs.
  13. Anybody have a good number for Kings? I've been trying to call but get a message from the phone co saying they are not accepting calls. I'm calling the (901) 283-2022 number. Wanted to arrange to ship 2 slides for cerakoting but no luck. Sp-
  14. One of my prized firearms is my Springfield TRP Operator FLDC - congrats you will love it. BTW high noon makes an awesome holster for it, if you need pics let me know.
  15. Bama all the way, no way synthetic LSU will win - the tide has MFBATR!
  16. New to the TN forum here - nice to meet you all; it really all depends on your build and personal preference. I'm medium build and 6'1 175lbs so when I carry my 26 in the warmer months I prefer the Blackhawk CQC SOB - I know what you are already thinking I used to hate Bhawk stuff but the leather SOB holster is the most comfortable and fast that I've used. I don't really like SOB holsters as I'm a believer of strong side carry but because of my slender build any other carry in light clothes months cause me to print. Any other time I would recommend the High noon Split Decision holster or the Don Hume 715 they are both great - I lean more towards the High noon though for me it just wears better. Hope it helps.
