  1. I have an LMT MWS 308, been sitting in the safe for 3 years now - never put a round through it. If you're still looking PM me and maybe we can work something out. Sp
  2. I switched over to the S15's in my G43X and have had zero issues. Put 1200 rounds through 5 mags in the past year. Do swap out the mag release as well, and the new S15 gen 2 mags are ambidextrous.
  3. I have a like new, Shield RMSC 4 moa red dot for sale. No issues, bought new from the Glock store 1/21 and it went on my wife’s 43X to the range once. She decided red dots aren’t for her. So I pulled it off, been sitting since I started to throw it on an extra SA Hellcat I have but the last thing I need is another subcompact carry. So thinning up some unused stuff. It includes everything as new and also the 43 plate from the Glock store. Shipped to your door $300 (ApplePay, PayPal, or crypto). TFL
  4. So I have a benelli M4 and also recently just got the shipping notification for a group buy I did at work for 25 Black Ace Tactical Bullpup Pro’s https://blackacestactical.com/product/pro-series-bullpup-semiautomatic/. It’s basically a Turkish import they modify and sell as their own. While I agree with the established pedigree of the M4, the BAT Pro fits a niche, and is guaranteed by the Florida based company. They run nicely and are much easier to run for home defense/cqb than my benelli. The M4 will break you off in cqb, it’s a beast and I would also never leave my benelli out of the safe. While the BAT at 28” (compared to the M4 at 40”) with a 10 round mag in a semi auto platform at $400 won’t bring me to my knees asking WTF if something happened to it because I left it by the bed and didn’t secure it.
  5. Same here, flawless and fun - kids and wife love to shoot my Henry X suppressed with 38s.
  6. I have had the Griffin Optimus for about 4 years now, nothing but good things to say about it. I also just got it back from them last month after sending it in for the baffle upgrade, they are very helpful and have always been responsive when I've asked questions. I run it routinely on my 10.3" 5.56mm SBR, 8.2" 300 BLK, 16" 5.56mm KAC, 16" 308 LMT MWS, QC9 8" 9mm AR, and Henry 357 X lever action using the taper mounts. I also use the 3 lug adapter on my B&T APC9 Pro and the booster piston on a host of pistols. I don't run it on any of my rimfires, that is solely handled by my Silencerco Sparrow. So if you have any questions on the GA Optimus feel free to ask.
  7. Thanks for the scoop fellas. I'll have to plan accordingly, looks like I'm just going to spend some time feeling completely naked.
  8. Headed to Disney this weekend with the kids and will be staying at a Disney property. Haven't been in 20 years, so I'm looking for any info on carrying in and around the area. I'm not planning on carrying in the parks themselves which are posted and have checkpoints but how about the areas not inside the parks but on the property. Do they have mag/checkpoints set-up? I will have my LEO creds and badge with me but would like to avoid any stink if you will. Anyone have any experiences there? Sp
  9. Uh.. heck yea - I just ordered one and also the arrow pouch and whisker biscuit. I gotta try it out.
  10. TDR / Dustbuster what's the device or app?
  11. +1 for Stealthgear AIWB for the G43. Mine is great, I used to daily carry INCOGs but not now. As far as OWB I have been using an F3 (with the wings) - I also highly recommend it as well.
  12. Excellent job, I'm gonna have to give it a shot now.

    Glock 43

If you're eligible for blue label I would recommend GT Distributors. I got mine for $368 shipped + transfer fees.

I recently sold my 9mm Shield, it was in my daily carry pair for 4 years, I had about 2.5k through it. After the G43 passed without a hiccup on my break-in of 500 rds it was a done deal. I would say that a couple of the major differences I noticed were the grip length and diameter, the Shield was bigger Of course on the standard 7rd vs 6rd with pearce +1 mag but it was also thicker. I carry AIWB and I felt it rode higher and was more noticeable. I'm also not a fan of the S&W trigger, on the trigger itself I could at times feel the catch in the trigger safety on the Shield (not a big deal, but it was a definite stop during trigger pull - have never felt that in any other trigger). That's it, they both shoot great but the G43 won out for me the.
  15. It would all be over... I had the distinct honor to see one of these while in Malaysia. The guys in line were crying and pissing themselves before it was there turn when they herd the snap and when the guy was getting the lashes he lost consciousness. So they stopped the caning while the Doc brought him back to, then they resumed.  I found a video of one posted on the web http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=5aa_1319800677
  16. The 17 is a decent platform, I had one for about a year. I bought the vltor setup, geissele trigger and the ggg charging handle - I say all that to say I tried to make it where I would like it.  I didn't ever get to that point. Like comms said the reciprocating charging handle is a pita and the barrel profile once warm does nothing for accuracy.   I sold mine and bought a LMT LM8MWS - same price range but it has been awesome out of the box since day 1.
  17. You turned it into a fine looking piece.
  18.   Negative - you cannot.  That violates the law in AL, in a vehicle visible or not you cannot transport a loaded long gun. Pistol all day long but when the weapon is in a vehicle in the passenger area it's considered under immediate control and thus it's considered on your person. If you're going hunting it still cannot be loaded, can be in a rack etc, however, ammo must still be separated and they routinely check your hunting permit.   § 13A-11-50 Carrying concealed weapons. Except as otherwise provided in this Code, a person who carries concealed about his person a bowie knife or knife or instrument of like kind or description or a pistol or firearm of any other kind or an air gun shall, on conviction, be fined not less than $50.00 nor more than $500.00, and may also be imprisoned in the county jail or sentenced to hard labor for the county for not more than six months.   A person may lawfully transport a firearm, including a handgun, from one state in which they are legal to possess to another state with or without a permit as required under Alabama law, provided the following conditions are met:  The firearm is unloaded.  Neither the firearm nor any ammunition being transported is readily accessible or is directly accessible from the passenger compartment of such transporting vehicle.  In case of a vehicle without a compartment separate from the driver's compartment, the firearm and ammunition shall be in a locked container other than the glove box or console. Title 18 U.S.C. section 926A
  19.   No, you cannot have a loaded long gun in your vehicle - in AL that is concealed. There is only concealed carry for a pistol. § 13A-11-73 Permit to carry pistol in vehicle or concealed on person -- Required; possession of unloaded pistol in motor vehicle. (a) Except on land under his or her control or in his or her own abode or his or her own fixed place of business, no person shall carry a pistol in any vehicle or concealed on or about his or her person without a permit issued under Section 13A-11-75(a)(1) or recognized under Section 13A- 11-85. (b) Except as otherwise prohibited by law, a person legally permitted to possess a pistol, but who does not possess a valid concealed weapon permit, may possess an unloaded pistol in his or her motor vehicle if the pistol is locked in a compartment or container that is in or affixed securely to the vehicle and out of reach of the driver and any passenger in the vehicle.   (2) FIREARM. Any pistol, rifle, shotgun or firearm of any kind, whether loaded or not
  20. In AL the gun owner must keep the firearm locked in a compartment or container that is affixed to the vehicle. The firearm must remain out of reach of the driver and any passenger in the vehicle and be unloaded with ammunition in a separate container (Can be in the magazine still).
  21. I got mine today.... got an awesome TOPS knife.     Turns out it had been here at the house for a while, the wife thought it was something she ordered from Amazon. She opened the box up to wrap it and had some pretty choice words for Amazon, she thought at first they screwed her order up. I'll post a pic up later.   Mine is going out tomorrow as well.
