AR build

I was going to comment about Roggio when you first posted but it was in your already purchased list. They are hit and miss but mostly poor workmanship - bad finish, miscut mag wells and canted receiver extension threads are only a few of the common issues.

So check it out good, their CS wasn't to bad from all reports but what I saw was local in Fayetteville. They were offloading them for $75 a piece at Jims as is back in 09.

I picked up one myself and it had finish issues - pushing on the MIAD grip alone took off all the finish.

Hopefully yours other than the cuts is good.
2. I watched the first 2 and wrote it off for all the reasons previously noted. However, what also gets me is the fat dude that used to work for google or whatever - he is still fat. That fat would have fed him for the first few months but not after.
3. The comments after the article are disturbing - social confusion and ignorance seems to be rabid.
4. Really sorry to hear that, deepest condolences to you and your family.

beer snobs

Definite beer snob here as well. About as low as I go is Blue Moon and New castle. I usually try to keep some Paulaner hefe, Weis dunkles or some hard cider in the fridge. With the cooler weather I'm enjoying the 802 and angry orchards.
6. Lol - I know and I'm sure ol' Gaston would finally kick the bucket if he saw yours.
7. It's great... I want one now on everything. Trying to get in line for Custom creat to do my Sig now and already have one on my Volquartsen scorpion. Makes those longer shots so easy now as well, can ring steel 80 - 90% of the time at 100m, not practical but fun and helps work on smooth trigger control.
8. I bought the complete upper and picked up a lower off of GB - they are pricey but worth it in my opinion.
9. I have this old one of the TSD, have since added the fulcrum trigger ultimate (worth every penny) but not of the OEM it's on the wife's 19.... it just sits in the safe. It probably screams when she pulls it out because the light hurts its threads - lol.
10. Yea my threaded barrel that came with my TSD is just a tad longer than the OEM threaded as well. I would recommend going non OEM my TSD is a match stainless is scary accurate compared to the OEM. I've heard nothing but good things about the storm lake as well. If you do get the OEM though pick up the AAC thread protector it worked the best.
11. Okay so I measured the difference and it came out to 16mm in difference with an OAL of right at 120mm.
12. Aye, I'll agree to that.
13. I can check when I get home but it is right around .5 of an inch. I will measure the threaded compared to the unthreaded oem.
14. Welcome, I saw a new store the other day down on Ashland city road 41A bypass. Didn't stop in, had the fam with me - looked small but who knows.
15. Completely possible in this day and age... probably a whole portion in the CFR on it. Heck with two of them you would probably be subject to annexation of land or maybe they would just annex it then let you lease it from them at a nominal fee that would fund inner city clean-up projects...
16. TSD made a great VEPR rifle package earlier this year. It was pricey around $1400 with like 8 mags but everyone said they ran like singers.
17. That's why you add a Ruger MkIII with a threaded barrel as well so you can maximize that can.
18. Dang... RIP, hope they do good on all that he started.
19. Welcome back. Good on you for making this post - it takes a strong man to come back in this fashion.
20. Might be worth just picking up a few to try or throw a couple in your go bag.
21. My thoughts exactly... also don't forget it was a free ride with some free meals and pills.
22. It was weird my last one was very similar - it was sent in Jan 15th and went pending in Feb but my check wasn't cashed until late march. It was all on time though as my stamp showed up mid July.
23. Welcome... I think you should get a special lurker tag
24. I couldn't agree more. I think that 9/11 played a huge part in the overall timeline and brought on the rapid dismissal because at that point because "we have more important things to figure out now"...... smoke and mirrors.
25. Vihtavuori N110 is some of my favorite.
