  1. +2  H110  for hot magnum loads.  Accurate No9 for playing.  if anyone knows where i can find H110 please pm me i am about out :-( Try Nosler jacketed hollow point to help with feeding since they more of a rounded point.  i shot 240gn FTX in 20" marlin, but didn't have feeding issues with FN bullets.  if you are near gallatin i would offer ten 240 FTX Leveroution(sp?) and ten 200gn Nosler if you want to try cycling before you try spending; pm me. I won't offer my loading info on mag rounds,  but the old out of print midway data i have posted on here before is a nice reference. http://www.mediafire.com/view/rz2g5raah15ccc7/MidwayUsa_LoadMap_44RemingtonMagnum.pdf
  2. impuestos? yo no pago impuestos federales!
  3.   can you get it with the download button?   anyone else having trouble?   i see two downloads.  with me logged out it shows up in safari for download or viewing.
  4. not perfect,  but good reference to compare against powder manufacturer's data.  LMK if you can't see it.  note 10" solid barrel was used for all testing when i scanned through it.  imo - find a load that fills a lot of the brass safely, good crimp and decent bullet like nosler or xtp   http://www.mediafire.com/view/6hebccl57hufqib/MidwayUsa%20LoadMap%20357Magnum.pdf
  5. i would be using accurate #9 over #5 for a 357 mag round that wasn't punching paper.  Accurate's load data is there, but weak.  Hodgdon h110 really fills the brass at 16+ grains and could be in powder compression territory with some bullets in the 16 grain territory.  i added a load map to a 357 thread here once;  like the one i put on your 44 mag thread.  if you found it useful for the 44,  i'll look for the 357 and share again.
  6. http://www.mediafire.com/?rz2g5raah15ccc7 free load map for 44 mag,  enjoy.  you can view before you get it to see it is worth your time.  not sure why these went out of print :-( 110 for true magnum and #9 for light loads are my favorite.  you can't play with 110, magnum primers and do not download or it won't go bang.
  7. we gauge every round we make before it goes in the box.  good habit to have even if it is a pistol round.   the only experience i have with barry's is HBWC so can't comment on consistency :)
  8. nice thread,  but don't get sucked into the appleTV unless paying for videos from your itunes account is important.  you would be better off spending a few hundred more for a mac mini as a HTPC and watching hickok45 on the big screen.  i'll surf the net in the apple ecosphere but not subjecting myself to their ecosphere for my tv content.
  9. We cut cable a while ago.  Have been using Roku since it was released and still use an original roku in one room. Best streaming device, beats out internet capable DVD's, smart TV's.... for simplicity.  Mostly stream netflix, but also an amazon prime member. The free Roku channels are like watching random videos on internet. The most of the good content is on the internet if you want to find it.   Enjoy NASA TV and a few others but most are internet based blog like shows.  I speak english, so avoid the foreign channels.  90% of time we stream neflix.  IMAO, don't spend a fortune on it,  get the cheap one.  Unless you want to play angry birds or listen to audio from remote the 1080p is not really supported unless you pay 6 bucks for amazon movies and comcast isn't throttling your bandwidth.  netflix has very few 1080p listings and comcast has yet to sign up for open connect because they are in competition with them.  netflix is worth the 9 bucks a month. netflix will limit you to two streams at a time, if you try to stream three devices at once you need to spend another 9 bucks a month.     I'm watching nova right now via netflix
  10.   it depends on company policy.  sgammo or ammunitiontogo was dropped on my doorstep in the past.  AIM is dropped, but i have driver license on file with them.  midway has never been my preference for ammo, but they have had it in stock with reasonable prices lately if i combine an order so i purchased.  two recent shipments  sent signature delivery, but that may be due to my current address which is not conducive to driver drop.
  11. shipping is not cheap, ammo requires signature delivery that adds to cost  (i am not denying they get a good volume discount rate) and they do incur a cost of packaging labor & materials.  if you haven't ordered much from them in the past, before the panic you could get a coupon that would cover the shipping. i ordered with the limit and 15.46 shipping, but added 100 rounds of 9mm, 250 rounds of 40 s&w, misc small items and only increased the minimum rate by 40 cents.  by the time i was done shipping was cheaper than state tax.  i'm sure i will get slammed for that comment,  but if you're not paying attention our state is NOT spending wisely so why should i care.  besides you would be a fool to think non-taxable sales are not figured into the current sales tax rate anyway.  without getting sidetracked too much,  Non-ammo orders have better ship costs via priority mail and ups/usps option than most any other retailer. i'll stick with them, good company with fair business practices.  plenty of worse options to choose from and cheaper then fuel costs driving from LGS to Box Store looking.    also i'm not reselling or hoarding, just don't have time to reload right now.  if you're not finding other calibers in stock, clear your browser and try again.
  12. it ended up at 11 cents per round for me.  not too bad considering the current situation and i'm low on 22LR.  unfortunately for me the job thing gets in the way of my standing in line at academy to plunder the customer service desk so i can resell the ammo to the guy that pays for my EBT card.
  13. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/218194/aguila-super-maximum-ammunition-22-long-rifle-30-grain-hyper-velocity-plated-lead-hollow-point-box-of-500-10-boxes-of-50?cm_cat=CheckoutConfirm&cm_pla=ProductThumbnail   it was there when i ordered.  55 bucks for 500 rounds delivered to gallatin.  good luck,  the 40 S&W sold out last night before i could post.   LIMIT is one 500 round order,  not best price but better than some and a lot better than none.  i threw a few other items in cart to offset the shipping charge.  if you don't have a decent pistol bag,  midway branded one with mag pouch on side is great deal for 9.99  can get two pistols, 100 rounds and PPE in the bag as long as hearing protection is small.
  14. I have a newer Wheeler set.  it is junk.  Buy a better quality set like the grace pistol smith set.  Follow this link to Art's videos.  Watch the first two Browning A5 videos and learn how to make a hollow ground screwdriver.  http://www.artsgunshop.com/index.html
  15. the reference was made several times. if you are loading standard pistol rounds, watch a youtube video, pour in some powder and pull the trigger.  if you want a guide to help you learn more than "how to roll your own" (pulled from introduction), it is well worth the 12 buck amazon download version price.  if you google enough,  you might find a pirate copy on the goobernet. check your  local library  ;-)
  16.   yep,  you have to be on the mailing list.  good group of folks at lebanon gun shop.  325 night guard on shelf  :-)   midwayusa sent me an email alert today. my magazines are back in stock;  two mag limit.  i guess they are chumps too.  i'd rather have two for normal price than see them 300% higher in a personal sale ad.
  17. ABC's of Reloading about 12 bucks at amazon, you can download a free kindle reader. also available in paper format. does not have load data in it, or the '04 version did not.
  18. agree with LCPfraTN. UBC has first time & repeat buyers at the LGS plus the ammunition WAS in stock
  19. s&w m10...64...something 4" with DAO hammer.  pull the trigger or let off half way.  no worries about cocked hammer, misfeed.  get one, easy to find & cheap.  good building block.  don't stick a 12+lb trigger pull midget revolver or block in her hand and expect her to like it good luck
  20. cz usa has most all mags in stock except the P07   44mag.com has the coated mec-gar 17 & 19 round 9mm or 12 & 14 round 40 s&w mags in stock.  the higher round count mags are same mag with mec-gar's +2 plastic base.  price is up 5 bucks on 9mm to $34.99, but i still like mec-gar's coated 17 round mags over OEM.  the 40 S&W mags have old price of $24 / $29.  they will ship three or four mags for $5 if you accept the slow route.
  21. no,  you have to be convicted to be a felon.  i much prefer the term,  outlaw.     hopefully TN will fall in line with Texas & Wyoming pushing legislation to show the Feds where the state rights line is.  "The plan calls for felony criminal charges to be filed against any federal official who tries to ban or restrict ownership of semi-automatic firearms."  Now that is a fed felon.
  22. The COL from Hodgdon is short with the 124gn Zero.  Set to what is free in barrel and feeds, but suspect 1.145" to 1.155" is a better COL.  I've loaded zero's with HP38 and HS6, but for 9mm with 124gr jacketed round nose loads I like 6.0 grains of AA #5 with a COL of 1.148"; mixed brass and primers.  For 9mm data, try this - http://www.mediafire.com/view/?7tgzoz0bqhx727u
  23. did you try a good OWB belt holster?. it would hide it better and might be more comfortable. i carry in a pj straight drop holster appendix, i'm not buying larger clothes. I'll go lurk elsewhere, enjoy the opinions about carry positions. Remember internet forum rule #8, posting facts are just opinions and we all know opinions can be wrong. Appendix Carry - Part I Removed for excessive profanity in the video.
  24. i need to crawl out from under my rock and go take a look. any business supporting the sport/industry deserves a standing ovation. i guess it is ok to shoot +p+ out of a kel-tec, WWB wal-mart bulk even though i would trust buffalo bore over it any day ;-) no one ever claimed lawyers and actuaries had common sense.
