Well I have this crazy idea that you should have a weapon that will chamber what ever your local military/guard uses.. Makes it easy if you should have to break into the local armory and liberate some ammo...

Ok. I am going to ask this since we are talking about lowers and uppers.. It I want to build an AR pistol, does the lower have to be marked PISTOL?? And if so does that mean the lower can only be a pistol lower for ever and ever??? Thanks,

Spotted this thing on Nolensville Road today. With a few cameras on it.. From the markings I take it that it belongs to the NPD. But what is it for??? and is this some sort of mobile Big Brother device?

They are not going after the guns,, they will go after the ammo...So that being said, if you don't reload you need to start learning now... And stock up on bullets,brass,primers, and powder..

Well here is what I am thinking. Pop the primers, then put the brass in the ultra sonic cleaner, to clean the cases and primer pockets. The reason that I wanted this is so I could watch TV and de-prime... could be more trouble than it is worth..

Ok, I have not used my stupid question for the day so here .goes.. I go out and buy 10 oz of silver. Let’s say they are 1oz coins. So I have 10 coins that I used USD to buy. The system collapses the USD is in the dumper. no one wants it… But hey I have these 10 silver coins. Now, since the money I used to buy said coins is now junk.. How do I use the coins to buy stuff??? I know this is a dumb question but someone please give me some feedback … Thanks,

Ok, I just placed the order the other day.,. and they said it is on it's way...so I will give it a spin and let you guys know... not going to do the whole lot of brass with it... but it would be nice not to be in the basement.....

Ok, I need some help. I have a few guns for sale. I have never sold a gun in a private sale to anyone I did not know (as in close friends). I have no problem with showing an ID for the transaction (buy or sell). But I am a little afraid of putting my DL# down on a bill of sale. Not that I have anything to hide, I just read so much about identity theft that it scares me a bit.. So, if you fellow TGO members could chime in and provide me some guidance it would much be appreciated..

Guess we are on the subject of malls and hood rats. I remember when Hickory Hollow mall was a nice and safe place to go. It seems when you introduce the thug element, it all goes down hill and after they have sucked the life out of the place, they move on.. I see them as no more than parasites. -

Ok, first I am going to say eotech’s are cool, neat and whiz bang. That being said the one thing I love about the iron is the fact you don’t need batteries for them… so let the haters hate.. Some on here may disagree with me (which hey that’s ok) but I think everyone that owns an AR15 type rifle needs to learn to use the iron sights. In case you should have a failure with you high tech sights you can always fall back..

Ok here is my EBR. The upper is model-1 11.5†barrel w/5.5†flash hider permanently attached to the barrel to make everything legal. Since I wanted to keep the triangle hand guard, but still wanted goodies. Attached to the carry handle is a Tri-Rail mount. The scope is a colt(style) with a variable laser designator on the side. The green laser beam can be adjusted from a pin point beam, all the way to a decent spot light. The lower is a DPMS with LPK of the same make. The butt stock and hand grip is the ATI strike force package. I also wanted to add a bi-pod to the setup. So I used a barrel rail mount. This is my first build, was looking to go with a semi retro flavor.

Hey folks, I was out and about to day doing some photography work for a project I am working on. And was in the area so I drove by The Nashville Armory.. Looks like things are moving right along. And it they guys were working on the site today.... Starting to look like something besides a hole in the ground... I will have to drive by ever so often to see how things are going..
