Part of it is by taking into consideration of belt loop size and spacing. On this one, i pretty much went off a picture of a RCS pmag pouch i found online and eyed it. Even though i don't' have exact dimensions, by referencing different points of the pmag, i can tell how big RCS cut theirs. Picture of RCS pouch i found online... The one I made... Also, on AR mags, you grab the mags with a "coke can grip," so you want a lot of of pmag exposed.

Thanks. Ya, an OD pmag would look good. The retention is tight. Definitely hold a loaded pmag upside down. I think I actually need to loosen it up a bit, feels a little to tight.

Ive learned that how ever you carry whether its IWB or OWB, make sure its comfortable. I'll sacrifice having it print a little or showing slightly to give me comfort and fast access if I can't have both. I really like the OWB kydex rigs. They ride nice and snug against my waist, light weight, and very fast. Even when I'm wearing a slimmer shirt, there is minimal printing.

I have a guy in ATL that wants me to make him a holster for his G21. The problem is, I don't own a G21 and don't have a mold for it. Anybody an officer in the TN army national guard? I went and talked to a recruiter today to get some information. I have a BS and MS degree so I would go through the BCT and OCS if i did it. My biggest reservation is not being able to see my daughter during training and deployment.

Just finished up the double mag carrier.

Of course nobody really knows how it would have played out, but my guess is that if the GG didn't intervene, the BG would not have had the shotgun pointed at him. The BG would have taken the money and left. Its a gamble either way. You risk getting shot by intervening and accidentally shooting someone else in the store when you start shooting 6-7 rounds and only hitting your mark twice. Just one stray bullet in a store is no bueno. My personal opinion is that i carry for myself. If I do not have to intervene I won't. If the gun is pointing at someone else and the perp hasn't fired any shots, i would rather have them walk out with money with zero shots fired from anyone. The risk of the BG start shooting because someone tried to be a hero is not something i am willing to take. And just because you carry doesn't mean you should get involved. He's lucky he didn't shoot anybody else.
