  1. Oh, and just in case someone may not know, in many cases you'll have to call CDNN for their prices.
  2. I'm not sure I've ever heard a good word about Pro Mag.
  3. CDNN runs a fair number of ONE DAY USED GUN SPECIALS. Here's the most recent. This ends today 6:00PM CST. 4. +1 I didn't realize TPS -TNRobocop did transfers, but I do know he's always been a great guy to deal with.
  5. No problem! Bellshire Hardware Company (615) 860-4212 3870 Dickerson Pike, Nashville, TN 37207
  6. I'd call Phil, over at Bellshires Hardware. He's on Dickerson Road, and always charges me $20 for transfer.
  7. Are you doing all this with the magazine still in the gun?
  8. Yep, that's fairly common. Although it's never happened to me, I see it being talked about over at XDTalk fairly often. No need for a smith.
  9. Happy Birthday! Congrats on the new toy. Enjoy!
  10. I've had 2 P-Series Rugers, and I regret ever selling them. I fired thousands and thousands of rounds with both of them, and I never had a single issue. They are built like tanks. If you have the extra money, and want one for plinking, buy it. Just make sure you're getting a fair deal. Don't pay $400 for a gun that's been beat to hell.
  11. What do you plan on using it for?
  12. Personally, I wouldn't offer more than $400 (at the very most). And the only reason I'd go that high, is because of the 6 mags. Those will add a few extra bucks. This is all depending on condition, of course.
  13. I'd say that you'll be better off buying a new/newer one. Keep an eye on Craigslist. I got a 3 month old set of Heavy Duty Whirlpools for $325 off there, and they are still kickin strong.
  14. Congrats on the new toy, and welcome to TGO. As far as a place to shoot near Memphis, someone who lives in that area will chime in shortly. Enjoy your stay! Check here. There may be a listing for your area. http://www.tngunowners.com/dynamics/browsecategory.php?c=4
  15. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  16. I've used a Dremel for polishing the black barrel on my XD. It now has a stainless finish. It would have been much easier with a full size polishing wheel, but it did a decent job. I used Jewelers Rouge with the Dremel. Oh yea, those little polishing wheels for the Dremel don't last long. Better make sure you have plenty.
  17. I'm sure you're not the only one. That's probably why they make it that way. Either way, it's a very nice gun.
  18. That is very nice. I'm just not sure I like the solid trigger. Wish they would have done a little something with it.
  19. Yep. It's been that way for the bestter part of the day for me.
  20. I just thought if I ran the Twinkies and Ho Ho's through the juicer, they would digest better.
  21. Thank You, BigPoppa! Right back at ya! Happy New Year to all!
  22. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  23. You're absolutely correct. Being the damn yankee from Chicago that I am, this vernacular is one of the greatest, ever. It seems to finally be working it's way south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Although I've heard it being used here and there, since moving to Nashville 13-14 years ago, it's yet reached it's full potential.
  24. Same thing here. Not that I'm expecting it to be some magic fix, but I'm buying me one of those Jack Lalanne Juicers. I know two people who have incorporated one of these juicers into their diet plan, and it's worked very well. Anyone use one of these? What are your thoughts?
  25. You're asking these questions to a bunch of southerners. Do you really want the answers to those questions? I kid, I kid!
