  1. Now that there's a good idea.
  2. I have a brand new XD(M) you can use for back-up.
  3. :Harry Caray: HOLY COW :Harry Caray:

    Help!!

Yep. It would be, or be something like a pretrial diversion. In Davidson County, it can take up to 3 or 4 months to be removed from your record.
  5. Congrats. I was eyeing those at the show myself. If nothing else, you can shoot them all day without breaking the bank.
  6. Very nice. Is that built on a Chevy Blazer frame?
  7. Because he tried to lead such a private life, most people didn't know of his involvement in several causes for children.
  8. I knew what you meant. I was just bustin' your balls.
  9. No, you'll have to do it again. I was fingerprinted for hauling hazardous material/waste only weeks before taking my HCP class, and I was required to do it again, at the very same place.
  10. Bill Heard?
  11. You mean they didn't get that 2000 LB. block of steel? Sorry to hear about that, Len. I've done the same thing. They got away with my wallet and CB radio. The wallet was empty of cash, but it was a real pain trying to replace my DL, SS Card, Bank Cards, etc. The nearly $500 CB radio really p@#@&d me off. It usually only takes that one mistake, and you'll likely never do it again.
  12. In my humble opinion, we've just lost the greatest comedian, ever. Although much of his career was before my time, I've never heard/seen someone so damn funny and honest about his beliefs. I really think it was his "realist" personality and viewpoints that I loved most. To me, most everything he said made perfect sense. His views on religion, politics and psychology were right on track with mine. Or mine with his. Like him or not, this man has had an amazing career. He's has 23 album's, 14 HBO special and played parts in 16 movies. The man will always be the best in my mind. I guess my wish for just one more HBO Special will never be granted. R.I.P George. 13. Today is a very sad sad day! http://www.comcast.net/articles/entertainment/20080623/ENTERTAINMENT-CARLIN-DC/
  14. Could you actually get hurt doing that? I've never seen one in person, so I don't know much about them.
  15. Is that one of those wind tunnel things for practicing skydiving?
  16. Yet again, no rifle to be found. Looks good.
  17. SHTF is a somewhat broad term, but I'd go with the AR15. It has so many various uses.

    Help!!

Just to make sure, I would also contact a local attorney, but I'd say you'll be fine. Unless you're convicted of the crime, all should be well. At the most, you may have to have something expunged from your record. I know someone who was arrested for selling pot. There were actually 2 felonies involved. He served 2 years on probation. When he was done with his probation, he was able to get these felonies expunged from his record and now has his HCP.
  19. Yep! The intraweb is a wonderful place.
  20. Personally, I'd go with the AR, but here is a damn sweet mini-14 http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/trading-post-sale-trade/74640-wts-ruger-mini-14-target-like-new-ga.html
  21. The Mini-14, Mini-30, and Mini-6.8 are small, lightweight semi-automatic carbines manufactured by the U.S. firearms company Sturm, Ruger. The Mini-14 can fire both the popular .223 Remington cartridge and the similar military 5.56x45mm cartridge,[1]. The Mini-30 uses the 7.62x39mm and the Mini-6.8 fires 6.8 mm Remington SPC. Since 2005, all models are marketed under the name Ranch Rifle. Ruger also offers a selective fire variant of the Mini-14, the AC-556, to police and military customers. AC-556 models have a slightly longer receiver (shared with early production "series 180" models) to allow for automatic operation. These models are also available with features such as short barrels and bayonet lugs that are not available on the civilian models. The Mini-14GB model is a semi-automatic variant for police and military sale, offering the short barrel and bayonet lug options.[2][3]
  22. You handled a box with a red X inside? Sweet!
  23. I thought about doing the very same thing, but it's so far from me. I'm in Hendersonville, so that would be quite a hike. I thought about joining the Gallatin Gun Club, but they are at their limit. On top of that, it seems as if you have to jump through hoops to become a member. I'm still looking for one a bit closer to me.
  24. I went to APPS for fingerprinting when it was time to get my HCP. If what goes on in the hallways during business hours is any indication as to how the classes are run, in no way would it be a class for a timid woman. Even the women working in the offices were on the harsh side.
