1. I have been looking for additional places in this area to train.  Will give them a look see, and thanks for the write-up.

3. no argument there.  if we don't have any recourse, then see post #14
4.   There were 2 other victims.  Reports were that one of those 2 were black, you can see him toward the end of the video in a safety vest being pulled back by a Kroger employee.  I don't disagree with the fact that this kid was jumped because he was white.  And you are right, these kids (and the parents) should be held accountable for the violence they handed out.  My point is that both the black and white community have their fair share of ignorance.  I have seen PLENTY of comments today made by whites that are just as stupid and ignorant as those that were made by ignorant black people in Ferguson, MO.  There is a deeper issue here at play than just the color of someone's skin being different and you addressed it; this is learned behavior.  And it comes from all sides, not just from the black community....
5.   I was about a mile or so east of Highland last night on Poplar...could have easily been where I was...things are definitely bad.  Just tired of hearing the race rhetoric, from both sides....
6. see post #14
7.   Then I guess we are all effed....
8.   So what is your solution instead of a post ladled with sarcasm?
9. Shouldn't the people we elect to office be held accountable for that?
why would you want to carry into a kroger? Exhibit 1 from last nite in Memphis at Poplar/Highland. They are rambling now about how a guy is OC'ing in a TN Kroger. The post is the usual mix of misinfo and vague facts mixed together. I really can't stand that .org ....
Road to hell is paved with what? What's best to do with sleeping dogs? Fact is, congrats for their decision = de facto support for gun carry. Folks post on forums to send thanks for that = more people seeing that, posting same on other forums and send "thanks" Which leads to the opposition noticing and sending in opposite view = polarizing correspondence battle, likely a Starbucks type boycott effort from the antis. Which eventually leads to more direct expression = antis picketing and pros open carrying. With our luck maybe the Open Carry Texas cretins will jump in too. Then eventually Kroger will have to make a more stringent official policy, and then boycott effort from the pros. It's an old story, can have no better outcome for our side than the current policy. (not that a few posts on TGO will cause it alone, just how these things seem to work in general) - OS
So basically what you are saying is shut the hell up and enjoy a silent victory? Sounds good to me...

As has been stated before in other posts most all of these companies exist solely to lighten our pocketbooks. They couldn't care less what Joe Consumer does as long as it doesn't harm business. It is a shame that people have to turn this stuff into a political fight that it should not be...

Shop Kroger

I posted a link on their FB page regarding a grocery store stabbing here in Memphis in '06 that was stopped by a CC'er....guess they didn't like me pointing out that guns in grocery stores can sometimes save lives....they banned me from posting and deleted my link...
18. I thought about getting a set of these for another G19 I acquired recently (it came with TFO sights, which I personally can't stand) but ended up with another set of XS big dots. I would like to eventually try these to see how they work for me...

New piece

Thanks, it has been a few years so time is making things a little easier as it always does.  I have a some revolvers and a couple of rifles and a muzzle loader that belonged to him.  One of the revolvers gets shot, but the others pretty much stay in the safe and get a light coat of lube once a year.  My dad lived with my family for 10 years before he passed so he got to see a great deal of my kids growing up an was able to be a part of our daily lives, which is what he wanted...

New piece

It was sprinkling yesterday but the light outside was better than indoors even so. And the only firearms I own that are safe queens belonged to my dad before he passed, mine are used generously. I took it to the range today. I am used to shooting Glocks with XS big dots so it took a few minutes to get used to holding the pistol and getting consistent shots. Only went out to about 7 yds but could still keep a fairly tight group. The flat trigger was a little different also. This pistol will definitely be staying in my range pack...

Got a Sig Scorpion today. Been eyeballing these for the last few months, anxious for a range trip...
23. I have another G19 frame I am gonna mess with when I get home. Maybe try another pattern of some sort around the grip area.
24. I guess TN is one of the next "conservative" states on the statist radar...isn't that the play book, move enough people from liberal states in to change the culture?
25. I have a Sig P516 pistol with one...no issues with mine, I would get another...
