CIA C39

From the reviews and comments I have found online it seems like there were some earlier issues with the rifle a few years back but it appears they have begun to work out the bugs and get consistent reliability....The furniture isn't the greatest but that wasn't a factor to me anyway....

I figured the crickets chirping was a good indication of the interest in my post...
  3.
My experience on the street arresting the people that committed the violent crimes and burglaries was that they were people that could not maintain a job and their alcohol/drug abuse. So unless you are suggesting giving them their drugs and alcohol for free; that won’t change. I’m not sure what that has to do with a comparison on the cities though. Is your point that everything is the governments fault?
What point are you trying to make in YOUR comparison?
  4. Pretty good article. The main difference in spreading disease in the modern world is that the means of rapid transportation today provides a good conduit for communicable illnesses. Hopefully what the doc stated will hold true and we will find some way to contain and cure this issue before it were to possibly get out of hand....

I have read that older versions from a few years back were known to have issues but the newer releases in the last year have had the issues resolved and the rifles run fine...
  10.
Of course not. Look how many build AK's now. I don't care about the rifles. They're available anyway. The only thing out of the pack that I really care about is the shotgun.
Never fired the shotgun myself...seeing dolomite's video in the classifieds wet my whistle...
  11.
Somebody in the US needs to start building the Saiga 12. Like anything else the Obama clown show does, there should be a way around it. That's a great design that needs to continue on in the US. Not fighting Obama is not really apathy. Sumbitch doesn't care about laws. How do you fight that?
Jim Fuller @ Rifle Dynamics recently talked about his company working in concert with other American companies to replicate the Kalashnikov design to make the AK platform the new American gun...with the machining tech being what it is these days I dont see that comment of yours being too far from becoming reality...

Possibly will be able to pickup another AK soon and have been eyeing the C39 from CAI. Most of what I have seen and read online have been fairly positive and felt the milled receiver was a plus at the price point. Anyone here have any thoughts/issues they can share on this? Thanks...
  14. nice...I have a banshee carrier on order and some hsgi tacos for my AK mags...looking forward to getting mine for the same reasons as you...would rather have and not need than need and have not...now you just need to go and get some training in to figure out how to make it work for your needs...
Did you buy the extra spall coating?
sorry man, just saw your reply....yes, got the extra coating...also picked up some x2r tacos to run AK mags with...I am interested in getting the med pouch they sell as well...maybe I will ask my wife to get it for an anniversary gift in october...I am lucky since my wife loves to shoot almost as much as I do...
  16.
Make darn sure your jars and lids are clean and sanitized. I suggest you do the canning (pressure or water bath) outside (grill, turkey fryer, fire pit, etc.). A great big pot of boiling water on the stove for a couple hours will have your AC working hard to keep up this time of year, and if you have an "oops", it's easier to clean up. 17. wife and I are jumping into canning head first this weekend....any do's or dont's we should be aware of?
  18. ordered this a few days ago http://www.ar500armor.com/banshee-plate-carrier-w-armor-and-pouches-multicam-proline.html#.U9BmX8ko6BY
  19. my wife and I picked up a pressure canner awhile back...we are about to get it out and start canning some stuff ourselves...probably the usual beans/peas/tomatoes and some soups and such....

  22. haha, nah just brain dead from my wife popping me on the back of my head...the plastic on the pmag and the glock frame are NOT the same...the glock is much quicker to react to the soldering iron, so keep that in mind..
  23.
You guys did a good job. Once you get past the 'freak out" factor it's not actually that hard to do.
thanks...I'm really critical of my own work on everything so nice to see someone has a positive remark....I practiced on a pmag before hand and watched some videos on youtube...
